"We should have inspected the entire room before signing. The floor was sticky, the wall of mirrors had streaks, hand prints. The toilet had "splatters" with dust accumulating. The tub had greasy scum ring and long hairs left behind. Obviously it had not been cleaned for days it was gross. Only the white sheets were washed, I think. We told them we changed our minds about the room and they responded with "sorry you already signed" no refund. Hell no we didn't stay. How is this ok?"

"Our room smelled awful, like something had either molded over or died in there & the cleaning crew just cleaned over it. The beds looked like they belonged in a camp cabin & there were dead flies everywhere & the ones that weren't dead were close to it. They kindly offered us another room & we declined & they gave us a full refund. We were excited about the bar above the hotel though..."

"They had a room open that contained a bed and bathroom, and it cost less than $100. The bathroom was run-down with dirty/broken tiles. The shower hot water handle wasn't quite attached, though the water pressure and temperature were good. The bed was as soft as plywood, so it is horrible for side sleepers, but probably good for back sleepers. If we were not on a budget and just passing through, we would have avoided this place, and I have no intention of ever returning."

"This was the worst of all the Motel 6 I have stayed in over 40 years. Would not recommend at all! Filthy and old run down rooms. Claim they are remodeled and updated. Personally it was a totally filthy place and only thing missing was the bed bugs and cock roaches! They have a lounge /bar upstairs. Seems like the only thing they are concerned about so they can make their money. We didn't even take showers because the walls were black and filthy, looked like they never get cleaned. Bathroom sink area was held up by a piece of plywood instead of fully finished to the wall like normal. Ice and vending machine area is filthy. Bath towels were yellow looking and grungy, not even close to white. Beds looked like they don't change the sheets. No scoop for ice machine, had to use bare hands. Not acceptable when you don't know if other people wash their hands or have any illness. When we arrived in the room i immiediately called the front desk because the bathtub faucet leaked with a steady stream of hot water. Told the manager we could not sleep with the water running all night! His response, "well can you just close the bathroom door?" Never offered to switch our rooms at all. Most expensive Motel 6 ever, even with our discount. Rude, unfriendly staff. Stood at front desk for over 10 minutes before someone came out and checked us in. Coffee had grounds in it and really looked like mud. We would not recommend or ever stay there again! Personally, I think they should pay the visitors to stay there and should give us a full refund!"

"Forced to book online to secure a discount, of which it booked 2 rooms instead of the 1 room needed. Room smelled very bad. Tile in bathroom had grout missing between tiles & door was ragged at bottom. Looked like it was coming apart. 2 sheets of toilet paper left on roll for guests. Bed was very uncomfortable & covers were too small for the bed. Large room sparsely furnished. Looked like Motel 6 forgot to put furniture in room. Pool was out of order. Did not get the room we requested and there was not one blade of grass on entire premise for our pets. One last thing, the coffee the next morning was undrinkable and I can drink VERY strong coffee. Believe me, we will not be staying at the Motel 6 in Dumas again."
