Emerald Therapy Center - Murray

"I tried multiple times to schedule family therapy with Anita at the Murray office and the first time they called the day of to reschedule because she had something else going on. Then we were told one date showed up and they didn't have it in so I pulled my kid out of school for nothing then they rescheduled again again we show up and they tell us 15 minutes before that she isn't in and they switched it to a tells health. With out telling us so we went to the office this is so ridiculous and worst communication ever."

"Emerald is a wonderful place. The counselors and other staff at Emerald helped save my life. I came to Emerald addicted, homeless, and hopeless. I am now working, have a nice apartment to live in with my children, and will be graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice and Human Services in less than a year. I have been clean and sober for four years and a couple of weeks and if I can do it anyone can! Thank you all very much for believing in me and teaching me how to love myself, set boundaries, and have good coping skills. I will forever be grateful for my friends at Emerald in Murray, KY"

"Horrible practice they have here with medication refill. It took a total of three tries back and forth with the medication line, representatives telling me it was called in, and pharmacy told me they still yet do not have the script. My husband had to go a week and half without his adhd medication and experienced unpleasant side effects. This month was the same. I called in yesterday and was told it would be taken care of at the end of the day. Wouldn't you know it, the pharmacy told me they have no script this morning. I am sick of this. Take your business else where."

"Great, until it wasn’t. I submitted my insurance information at my first appointment and I subsequently asked multiple times if I had a co-pay and I was told no. Fast forward three months later and suddenly my insurance is not preferred there and I have a $600 bill and was told if I want to come back I have to pay $130 towards my balance and $130 per session, I should’ve been advised of this upfront. If I could give them a zero rating I would. DO NOT go there if you have Anthem BCBS. Even though the insurance covers mental health, they do not prefer the amount reimbursed so you WILL pay out of pocket. But they will not tell you until you have a sizable bill. But they really “do care.”"
