"I ended my relationship with Dr. Mancini when her office tried to retroactively raise the copay on previous visits I had already paid for. Unacceptable. I hope the extra $60 you tried to squeeze out of me was worth it because it lost you a regular patient."
"Dr. Mancini is very professional. She has helped me with personal issues many times over the years. Talking about personal issues can be confusing at times. She helped me see my issues with greater clarity but always encouraged me to make my own decisions. I have gained more confidence on my job as well as more skills for dealing with family problems. I highly recommend her whether you need long term therapy or just need a little help with a problem. I have also used phone sessions when I was out of town. She was very accommodating of times I was able to connect."
"The front office staff are very patient and understanding but I don't appreciate Dr. Mancini delegating her conversations with the front staff. I've called multiple times to have a phone conversation with Mancini about a bill concern I had and she refused to speak to me. That's very unprofessional. They billed me because I cancelled an appointment 22 hours in advance instead of 24. Due to my job I have a hectic schedule that changes daily. I've explained this to her and she stated she won't talk to me unless I come in ( pay more $ just to have a conversation about a bill). Also, I have the right to cancel and switch my therapist and apparently she is the owner and she has to make a referral to see another therapist. Which makes zero sense to me. So basically you either stay or go- she controls everything. She is not willing to work with you and your schedule. Not a good fit with me and apparently she didn't like that. Don't waste your time."
"This is the worst mental health office you can find. Dr. Mancini is unprofessional, and unwilling to work with her patients. We were put on a wait list, and they called to change our appointment. We went to the changed appointment, and at that time decided to discontinue services because it was not the direction we wanted to go with our child. The office never canceled our other appointment, even though I called, and they called the day before to confirm. When they called the day before I said we would not be there, and we would not be continuing to receive services. They continued to bill me for that appointment that was canceled, and when I fought it Dr. Mancini said we had to pay for the missed appointment. In addition, Dr. Mancini's office is a mess. She has patient files all over the place, and open food containers everywhere. We did not feel comfortable with HIPPA knowing that files were everywhere all over her office."
"Today I showed up for my appointment with Dr. Mancini on time and was told I owned them 90.00 because my insurance had a 5,000 deductible. I told them that was incorrect and that my insurance covers 70% of the bill until I reach my deductible and then it covers 100%. The staff was unwilling to resolve this so I canceled my current appointment and all future appointments because as a college student who only makes 9/hr I cannot afford to pay that much money every month. They charged me $35 for canceling my appointment, which I found rude considering I was there on time and they were unwilling to resolve the problem. Once I left the office I called my insurance company to better understand the billing. It turns out that Access Behavioral Heath had been over charging me and that my insurance did in fact cover 70% until I reached a $500 deductible NOT 5,000 and that I should not have to pay any upfront costs. After having my insurance company contact their office to explain this I called back to ask for a refund, which they say they will let me know when a check is ready for me to pick up (I doubt I'll ever get that call). They refused to remove the $35 charge saying that Dr. Mancini herself said not to because it left a hole open in her schedule despite the fact that I was there on time and it was her staff that was unwilling to solve the problem. To sum it up the staff was very rude, uncooperative, and unapologetic about the whole situation. I will not be going back and they are borderline crooks in my opinion. I think it's obvious they they are not in the business of helping people and they are only interested in getting as much money as possible. I would not recommend going there."
