"Mark S Evans is very impersonal, and unprofessional. Ever since he took over I have ran out of one medications twice completely and come dangerously close to running out every month. The previous pharmacist like most would let you fill your medication 2 days early I never came close to running out really eased my mind. Mark S Evans did you know some months have 31 days? The CVS app and automated texts tell you a prescription can be refilled lets say the 28th of March but Mark S Evans won't fill it to you till the 30th. He also resembles Colonel Sanders stick to keeping that recipe a secret and give up being a pharmacist you inhumane menace to society"
"I will say that this CVS location is a bit less horrible than the one in Sellersburg. However, not by much. I went to pick up some prescriptions and one was ready. I asked about another and was told it would be 30 minutes. I'm not sure why because I requested a refill several days earlier on both and it took days instead of the time I was told on the recording. Fine, no problem. I returned in 35 minutes to be told by a less than pleasant tech it wasn't ready yet. I understand being busy, but I'm over it taking days to get prescriptions, then having to wait when I go to pick them up. Also, it seems like they're bothered by being asked to fill prescriptions. Overall unpleasant experience every single time."
"I have been going to this pharmacy for many years. I would have always said this is the best pharmacy I have ever been to, but since Mark has started there I have changed my mind to believing this is now the WORST pharmacy I have ever been to. The phone is never answered, he is rude and has poor customer service skills. This pharmacy opens late and closes early too. I have been there to pick up my prescriptions and on multiple occasions have asked if I could purchase another item at the same time and he refuses saying he just doesn’t have time. Even if it is an over the counter medication. If he is ringing up my prescriptions anyway, I don’t understand how he cannot have time to ring up my Tylenol as well. He always tells me to go make that purchase at the front of the store. The loss of Gary and hiring Mark has been the biggest mistake this CVS has ever made. I’ve had enough and I’m changing pharmacies immediately."
"I use to thoroughly enjoy this CVS location, so much so our family would pay a higher price on most all of our medicines because of the care our family was shown by pharmacist, Gary. However, Gary has since left, and his departure was surely the loss of CVS. The pharmacist that has since replaced Gary is Mark. Every encounter my family and I have shared with him has been unpleasant. On several occasions with my children in tow I would pick up my medicine, my children would try to engage him in conversation, and nothing, nor would he even greet me at any encounter. The most troubling occasions involved September 3rd, I arrived prior to 9:00 am (the time the pharmacy is suppose to have opened) to pick up my medicine. 9:00 rolls around, no sign of the pharmacist, though the technician is there, she informs us she is unable to unlock the gate. She sits there phoning Mark, who casually strolls in at 9:07, no apologies, nothing. In fact he comes in, arranges all his belongings, and then begins to take the customers that have been waiting. The lady waiting in line with me informed me this has happened to her on several occasions, with Mark. Another instance, I arrived at the store on October 4th to find they are closed that day, there was no prior notification this closure was set to happen. Finally, on November 2nd I return to get my annual flu shot. I am turned away by Mark stating I must have an appointment. I push back, he said there is no other way than with an appointment. My husband then phoned the CVS, down the street, whom informed us appointments are recommended for supply purposes but not required. I also phoned the CVS in the Target at Waterford and was informed of the very same thing, that vaccines do not require appointments. It is a shame Mark is a part of this organization and has torn away what Gary worked so hard to build. Please save yourself the trouble and find somewhere else to go. CVS is often higher in prescription cost, and with this lack of care there is not a reason one to waste your time or money."
"Gary in particular is always helpful, he goes above and beyond. Rarely have issues and they're always willing to help and help find alternatives or discounts."
