"UPDATE: After speaking with management, they've mentioned potentially adding cameras in the next fiscal year. BUT, even disregarding the safety issues, we've had to call maintenance regularly since living here. Windows leaking, mold, electrical shorts, water leaking from upstairs, and more. The hallways frequently smell of smoke. The laundry room, as well, despite being coin operated, is not in great shape. My recommendation remains the same: steer clear. I wouldn't recommend moving in. Within just a few weeks of moving in, there was a shooting and my car was broken into. The complex has no security cameras or any other real measures to keep residents safe. When I tried to address my concerns with the property manager, I was told there are no plans to address safety issues and that I'm welcome to move out, instead. Really disappointed. Have rented with Cowgill before and had good experiences until now."

"I've lived here for 5 years now ,starting in an efficiency apt and now in a 1 bd.apt.and for location it's great , Mgr is awesome, the maintenance staff is great, so if you looking for a good neighborhood it's a good place , we'll maintain inside and on grounds. Highly recommend. Thanks Ken"

"So my friend has jus recently moved into their apartment an I went over to visit an stay with her...wasn't there 8 hours an my car was towed. The parking lot was half empty so I pulled in an parked close to her unit. Apparently I was supposed to park up the street in the shopping center being their "visitor lot" and the street were full of cars. Looks to me as tho there are more visitors than tenants that stay there. Would NOT recommend."

"Have been living here as a student at UK for the past three years and have always loved it! Honestly some of the best housing around. The staff is awesome, super friendly, and the apartments are very nice. I would definitely recommend living here to anyone looking for an apartment around central Lexington, especially the students if they are looking for an off-campus place that is within walking distance to campus."

"Fantastic location! Close to UK campus, shopping, dining and more. The apartments are generous in size and very secure, with lots of storage. The staff is friendly and very helpful, especially if you have packages dropped off or a rare maintenance issue. I am already planning on renewing my lease!"
