"Always had a good experience. Always polite. Very knowledgeable in the firearm area."
"They were pretty firm on the price but gave a small cash discount. I visit pawn shops regularly and rarely do they clean their lawn equipment. All their trimmers were very clean. Stihl trimmer I bought started right up and runs great. Happy with my purchase."
"Best customer service experience I've ever had. I always will go to them before Dan's. The employees are so nice and will help you carrying things if it's to heavy for you to lift."
"I went here to buy a bunch of 1 item. The items had been sitting for well over a year and I asked if they would do a deal. The owner told me to come back with cash. I drove the 30 minutes back the next day. The lady I worked with said that she would do $445 and I asked if she would do $400 and leave 1 of the items out and she agreed. She then proceeded to say that she “forgot” to add one of the items and it would be $432 for all of them. I agreed to that and went to the register. She then said that she “forgot” to add another item and we were now at 6 items for $432 instead of 8 for $400. I agreed again because the 2 items weren’t that valuable. She bags everything up and leaves 1 item sitting to the side. I asked her if she grabbed that item and she said it was not included in the deal even though I had asked previously if it would be included and she said yes. So I started with 8 items for $400 and ended up with 5 items for $432. I declined the deal and left of course. I added up the total for the items and it was around $460 for those 5 items so they weren’t actually making me any sort of deal anyways. Super fishy from them and I would not deal here at all. The whole deal was very uncomfortable and felt like they were trying to scam me."
"Here’s my experience. Today was my first time I’ve ever been to capital pawn on Louisville rd. in Frankfort. Parking lot was clean and in good shape and lawn was was upkept. A weird thing to notice but your outside appearance says just as much as what’s inside. As soon as I entered a young man actually greeted me saying “hello, how are you can I help you find anything” which a greeting and acknowledgement means a lot to me. Both employees had masks on. I said “I’m gonna look around for bit first”. A nice young lady then said “ ok, if you need anything at all I’m here to help” and to be honest it felt very genuine like she really was ready to help with any questions. I then told her I want to look at some wedding bands. Let me tell ya She was on top of it. She came right over and picked stuff out of the case and answered every little question I had. She even had me put on hand sanitizer before touching products which is nice and shows they care about germs especially with everything going on right now. She sized every ring for me and gave me the price and what gold content it was and even grabbed calipers from the back to measure the widths of them because I wanted 6mm for mine and 2mm for the wife. To top it off they are even resizing them for me. So no need to go somewhere else and pay a bunch extra. This young lady made me feel important as a customer. I looked around for a bit after I purchased my 2 rings. And she reassured me if I needed help that they would be ready to help. I ended up buying the Homer Simpson toy on the counter as well since I’m a huge Simpson’s fan and the nice young man ringed me up he was respectful. Also, this place has a wide selection and variety of items and the store was actually clean and organized. Everything was packaged and priced nicely. I’m glad I made the trip across town. Service, selection, and overall cleanliness won me over in one visit. Thanks y’all. I really appreciate it. I forgot to mention the prices were pretty fair as well."
