"My nephew had an appointment there yesterday and the doctors and nurses were so super wonderful. You can tell they love working with children because they’re so patient and engaged with the kids. Dr. Shoe (I’m not sure of spelling he was the guy who took the history down) was VERY patient because my sister and I had to go over the mess Vanderbilt made of my nephew’s records. He was very confused as to why they were giving my nephew meds for epilepsy when they’d ran no tests. He assured us the three isolated incidents weren’t seizures. Every time my nephew would get his attention he’d take a moment to say something and would even hold him. Dr. Brock was also super wonderful. He was just as patient with us and my nephew, and even listened to my sister’s worries about my nephew’s behavior, and offered us a small dose medicine to help him not be dangerous. The Siskin institute had told us they weren’t going to help with it, so having Dr. Brock give us the help we needed was something we didn’t expect. The whole place was wonderful. Thank you all so much!"
