La Petite Academy of Sugar Land

"Lengthy, but hopefully helpful account of my experience: My son has been attending La Petite Sugarland for the better half of this year, and it has been a very rewarding experience. The activities are age appropriate and geared towards development; and fun for the kids! The facility is clean and well kept-I have never smelled anything other than food (which my son loves) or cleaning products. There are opportunities for extracurricular activities and programming for parents (which I intended to take advantage of but my schedule just didn't allow). Parental well being is encouraged by parent's night out where the staff graciously extend their day and allow us to be able to have kid free time to use as we please. Each day we are greeted by staff, and I have not had one negative encounter. Everyone is always positive and kind to myself and my son. I have seen him progress and grow in our short time here, and for that I am thankful. Security and safety are a priority, with codes and diligent staff who monitor incoming and outgoing persons. I love that I am able to check in on my son via the camera system, and also receive updates regularly during the day via the app from teachers. I can truly say that this is one of the best day care experiences I have had. Being a first time parent comes with a lot of uncertainty and all of the staff at this location have made me feel secure and go about my work days with ease knowing that my toddler is in good hands. Thank you to every single one of the staff here! :) Please consider sending your babies here, they will be in great hands, and I believe it will be a great experience."

"A big reason we chose this daycare is because of the staff. Many have been with La Petite for 20+ years, which speaks volumes. This is not just a job to most of them; they truly love and care for the kids and take pride in providing an enriching environment for them to learn and grow. The best part is that my son loves his teachers, especially Ms. Nikhat and Ms. Shecita, and I can tell they enjoy having him there too. It's such a comfort knowing he's safe and happy in their care each day. I also appreciate the camera access because I admit that throughout the day I just miss my little guy and enjoy using the video to check in and see him smiling and playing. Plus, the staff do a good job of publishing updates in the app after each feeding, diaper change, and nap, so I have an idea of his schedule and how his day has gone. The school's director and assist director are amazing as well and always communicate clearly with anything that's going on. Every time we walk in the door, they immediately put a huge smile on my little one's face!"

"My son attention la petite for a little over 2 years and he loved it. The staff there is super nice, they make sure to communicate with the parents about everything that is going on. Being able to have access to the cameras is wonderful. They able have a app that reports what your child is doing in class. I wished it was used every day but I do understand the teachers have their hands full sometimes and can’t report everything every day. My son loved all his teachers but Ms.Tanya was his favorite. She went above and beyond for my child. He was very delayed and she managed to work with him even tho it was a little more challenging. Sometimes she had to change her ways of teaching to be able to see what would work best with him and that did not go unnoticed. The school is pricey but I wouldn’t be cheap when it comes to child care. Would definitely recommend and return to la petite."

"My child has been going to this school for the past year. She wakes up every morning ready to go and it makes me feel so good to leave her in good hands while I’m at work. All the Teachers seem very loving towards the children. I love the fact I can watch her throughout the day on the app. The Director Petra always greets us with a smile. If you’re looking for good quality care for your child this is the place to go!"

"My 2 sons love this place! The oldest went to their summer camp and after the summer, it was a real struggle to send him back to elementary school! The staff is wonderful (from the Director Ms. Petra and her dear assistant Ms. Pam to every single teacher)! I can't even tell who I like the most since they all give great care to my kids. I receive daily reports, photos, and videos of my kids as well. There are many activities to keep the kids busy and their academic curriculum is great. Thank you for your hard work and...keep shining!"
