"First time here. We had stellar service from Sharon and very quick turnaround on our order. I was intrigued by the sweet cream pancakes so I ordered those along with scrambled eggs and spicy sausage. If you like big fluffy pancakes, you’ll love these! The sausage is very peppery and I enjoyed it. Will be back to try lunch soon"
"I recently move to Houston, and was looking for the best BLT in town. I can across this restaurant and was not disappointed. Not only was my meal immaculate to the tea, the service I received from my server Israel and staff was very pleasant. Israel made sure that I enjoyed my meal and took care of all my needs. When I typically go out getting a refill on my drink is a hassle but not at this establishment. I was so glad I didn’t see the buttom of my cup. Overall the food was a 9.7/10. I highly recommend the sweet potato and BLT. Definitely will be turning and making this my regular dinner."
"My family & friends recently visited the Black Bear Diner. I was thrilled because it had great reviews. However when getting there seating was really quick. Getting served was not. Our drinks came out pretty quickly. But who our server was we had no clue. Finally after waiting a long time the waitress say thank you for waiting patiently I’m going to be your server now. Apparently we are busy and needed to change her to wait in our table. At first I was like ok this is fine, but when I received my food it was builds with more onions than meat .I ordered Joes Hobo Omelette. The waitress only came back 2 more times and that was to bring our drink refill and our ticket. The food was not all that good. My son had a patty melt which he did enjoy. My daughter had the bears choice and she thought it was ok. The pricing and serving size is great. The taste and service itself was not."
