But for the sake of everyone elses loved one please if you have another option take it.. Even when they say this place is somehow better. I send my respect and constructive criticism because i know short staffing is an issue everywhere but i do know they are intelligent there just over worked!"

"The absolute nastiest, neglectful care I’ve witnessed. Husband there for brain injury recovery. Only changed his brief 1 time per day. Never and I mean never changed his clothes. Didn’t give him water. 5 days in and he’s sent to hospital for UTI. Never had a UTI in his life. No one knew his issues. Literally 3 employees couldn’t tell me how to exit the facility!! Really?"

Pathways ongoing CARF accreditation speaks to their focus on patient outcomes to assist individuals in reaching their highest level of independence while providing quality care and customer satisfaction. They have long-term, committed nursing and therapy staff with years of experience and expertise in brain injury rehab who not only provide excellent services to their patients but also ensure there is a focus on family/caregiver education and training as well. "We've been at Pathways for 5-6 weeks now and I can say we love it here. My boyfriend has a traumatic brain injury and could do very little prior to our arrival. The entire staff is wonderful. Everyone is so nice and so attentive to his needs. They make us feel like they honestly care about their patients and family. Coming from a nursing home/rehab facility that hired people who should in no way, should be dealing with sick, elderly or people in general, is a welcome change. We feel blessed to be here. The building could use some work, it had some upgrades to it, but not in the Pathways Department. It could really use a remodel however, regardless of the look, the feel is great. I'll take the great care over the look of the building any day."
