Jennie Stuart Medical Center: Emergency Room 320 West 18th Street, Hopkinsville, KY 42240

"My wife was told to come to the ER due to an EKG showing infarction. After confirming that it wasn't infarction, we waited for two more hours in the waiting room. My wife asked if she could just be discharged (even though we were still in the waiting room) because they were busy and it wasn't an infarction. After waiting another 30 minutes, my wife stepped outside to call the babysitter and check on our children. My wife's chart was updated, stating that she "left without being seen". This place is a joke."

"What reason could there possibly be to go into a ER and wait 8 hours to get help with a 6 year old child who has a fever of 102? Somebody please tell me!!!! Jennie Stuart has had way too many unnecessary deaths, people going in for routine procedures and never coming back out, when is enough gonna be enough??? When is Jennie Stuart gonna be held accountable for this?"

"Waited in the emergency room for 3 hours so far. I have severe pain in my right side, can’t hardly walk, sit, anything without hurting. They made me walk down the hallway to the bathroom to give a urine sample even after I told them I couldn’t walk that far. No offer of assistance whatsoever. The girl behind the window was very cold and uncaring, just shrugged her shoulders. If I had any other choice I would’ve left…worst ER on the planet!!"

"Do not take children to this ER…100% not child friendly!!! Took my 3yr old who suddenly lost her ability to walk normally and was visibly wobbly couldn’t even sit up straight. They completely dismissed my concerns made us wait hours and was sent home they said she was fine because her blood work came back normal, after multiple blood draws, no neurological tests were done or ordered. We never saw an actual doctor only a nurse practitioner. They tried to give her unnecessary procedures that had nothing to do with the symptoms she was presenting. She’s now been admitted to a children’s hospital in Nashville and they are very concerned with the condition and is getting the care she needs from a neurologist..no thanks to this ER! Take your kids somewhere else!"

"Waited over 2 hours in the ER waiting room just to have them finally put my info in the computer and told me it would be a while longer before I could be seen. I'm 14 weeks pregnant and I was having sever stomach pain. Multiple other people were stuck waiting for 7+ hours to even have their info put into the computer. A young lady was in the ER with me in the middle of having a miscarriage and they didn't even attempt to see her. This hospital is a joke and I would not recommend for anyone to come here."
