"I went with my elderly mother in 2021 to buy a chair for her new home. By Fall of 2023 the “leather” chair we purchased looked terrible. She attempted to have someone come repair it but the “strips” that are shredded are apparently vynil and not true leather. She contacted Burkes and was told they could do nothing. Buyer Beware!!"

"The first time I have ever had to write a review for a place because the owner was honestly extremely rude. I am enrolling in college soon and moving out so I was looking around with one of my friends and after 5 minutes of being there as it was my first time in there I was just of course browsing and seeing what the store had to offer and as we were walking up the stairs a guy who presented to be tall bald or with very short hair asked “Alright what are you guys doing in my store?” really scaring me and my friend since he just popped out of nowhere and made us uncomfortable and of course I replied “Looking around” not sure what he was implying or wanting from us and he went on implying that he didn’t want us in his store so we left. The customer service was so bad and I felt judged the second I walked in there. It felt like they assumed I didn’t have money to spend because I was young and did not look the part. Please don’t shop here unless you want to deal with ignorance and bad furniture."
