"Excellent care and service from the front desk all the way to the nurse practitioner. There was a small wait to be seen as to be expected at any drop in clinic. Professional staff explained everything. Great communication. I'm so glad we came rather than driving all the way to the medical center ED."

"Love Texas childrens but hate this urgent care location !!! Took my daughter that was 8 weeks for a fever and congestion. All we got was a breathing treatment, Tylenol, and was told if baby still felt sick to go to the er. They only tested for Covid and for flu . Went to hospital to find out my daughters condition was serious ! She had rsv, pneumonia and bronchitis that needed to be treated a whole week !!!! If I didn’t have a gut feeling to take her to the er anyways my daughter would’ve been home suffering ! Oh and the hospital (Texas childrens ) told me if my daughter had a fever (even if it was slight) they should’ve IMMEDIATELY sent me to the emergency room since she’s under 4 months !!!!!!!!! I cannot believe that !"

"My daughter took my four year old granddaughter to Texas Chidren's Urgent Care Pearland because she was screaming in pain, saying that her bottom hurt. We realized she was constipated and had done everything we could to help her to no avail. We assumed due to this place being an annex of Texas's Children's that they would be kind , have a sense of urgency about a child in pain, and care about their little patients. We were sadly mistaken. My granddaughter is screaming in pain and begging someone to make it stop and not one person of the staff came over to offer a soothing word or any assistance of comfort ( we will be with you shortly, can I give some water, etc...nothing- we finally get in the back after an hour and a half wait and my granddaughter is still in pain- no one comes in ( this is after they ask the level of the pain, and where- it was stated it was at a 10 and abdominal ( which could signify appendicitis) No came in to check to see about this child! I went to go ask how much longer and all they could offer was soon. No one had a sense of urgency or care. We finally left- my granddaughter screaming- ( the front desk person said have a great night ) we went a block down to another emergency room- she was seen right away- the nurse and doctor were caring and performed their job as if they cared and were concerned about this little person's pain. I am appalled at the lack of care and concern with this children's urgent care. I believe that health care personnel have to have some empathy and can't become numb to patient's pain and illnesses and think nothing of it. If this is the case, you need to remove yourself from the profession. I guess I am also mad at myself for sitting that long waiting on this facility to behave as caring human beings and allowing my granddaughter to suffer in pain that long without leaving sooner. Texas Children's Urgent Care- Pearland, DO BETTER, these are children !"

"Brought my son in on Saturday due to his Pediatrician being closed. From the front desk all the way through the provider that saw my son, were absolutely wonderful! They were so kind, gentle, and patient with us. Definitely recommend!"

"I brought my child tonight due to recurrent forceful cough with green phleghm. We waited 2 hours and 30 minutes to be seen, which is understandable as there are many patients. What is not acceptable is when the provider saw my daughter, she made an assumption that it was just a viral infection as this time is a respiratory season. She diagnosed without any TESTS done like to rule out Strep or what. She just told me to buy Claritin. I already verbalized to her my concern that this cough keeps coming back and that my daughter has green phleghm although no fever and that I am concerned. But I felt like she just brushed it off and kept telling me its viral or allergies. For the parents, who will visit here, do you think its worth it to bring your kids here waiting to be seen and not have the necessary tests needed to be done to rule out what your kids have and just based it on general symptoms and assumption?"
