La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham DFW Airport West - Bedford 1809 State Highway 121, Bedford, TX 76021

"First I would like to say how wonderful the staff was at this hotel during our check in. The two star rating is for the hotel property itself and not the staff. They could have not been more kind and understanding for the problems we had with our room. This hotel is old and shop worn for sure. I used to stay in this same hotel 20 years ago with my airline. It is clean but just seen better days. We booked the suite with separate bedroom. Very roomy but the age was showing. Both air conditioning systems were not working and it was so hot and stuffy. No way to sleep well with those conditions. Called front desk and staff came right up to look at AC but no way they could fix that mess. They just blew warm air that was in the room around. We called down to front desk to leave and go to the brand new hotel like it down the street. They were very understanding and just charged us for one night instead of four. I believe the front desk lady’s was named Jean. She was so nice. There is another LaQuinta about 3.5 miles from this hotel and it is beautiful. I would recommend going to this location instead. Thanks again to the wonderful staff."

"I haven’t even checked in and I can tell you this has been one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had! Because of a delay I had to stay the night. I had a choice of hotels, and picked this one because it was close to the airport and I just wanted to get a good nights sleep and get out of the cold. My flight landed at 9:10 pm, I got my bags and went downstairs to the area to be picked up by the shuttle. 2 hours and 10 minutes along with several phone calls later I was picked up. I am now driving around with a packed shuttle driver looking for a passenger. It is now 10 min in the shuttle and we are sitting at arrivals waiting for someone. The next issue I have is, I was at the airport in New York at 1:00 pm after a few delays I was rerouted to DFW, I got a voucher for food, but come to find out the hotel doesn’t have a restaurant. But I can get a free breakfast in the morning. If I knew that I would have used the voucher before calling the shuttle. So now I’m going on a full day no food, 2+ hours waiting for a shuttle in the cold, and all I get is the shuttle driver calling me and the other 5 people in the van cranky! It is now 11:57 pm and we are finally going to the hotel. I Can’t wait to see what I get at the hotel, I may continue this review. I will definitely contact La Quinta corporate when I get home. I would like to say check in was better, but I can’t. I checked in asked what time checkout was because I have a 3:30 pm flight, and I was told it was 11:00 am, so a 2 hour window before I go to the airport, I was told I can just go early. Customer service is obviously not an issue here. The room was ok, but it has the loudest heater, I won’t be using that and expect a good night rest. A very weak response below, but I really didn’t expect much more."

"A decent hotel for one night. Only slept for about 3 hours because of airline shenanigans but I definitely appreciated the brief respite. Don’t expect any 5 star accommodations and you’ll be fine. Room wasn’t as cool as I would’ve liked it and there was some noise from the hall but otherwise it was adequate. Plus it’s only 10-15 minutes from DFW so the location is great. Free airport shuttle as well that leaves on the top of the hour."

"Love this hotel and hospitality! Everything was clean and convenient. There is a steakhouse next door as well as a burger spot and gas station (QT) that is 24 hours. Staff were very friendly and the pool is indoors so, My kids loved it. They also have a full breakfast buffet in the mornings which is amazing. Room was clean and up to date. I will be staying here again."
