"I was charged twice for a day at Urban Air in Tallahassee. When I was there with my grandchildren I spoke to the man in charge there and he said he was going to fix the issue. It has not been taken care of. I tried to call them continually because I live in Jacksonville but can never seem to get anyone on the phone. I called the corporate number but received no help from them. I will never take my grandchildren to this place ever again! Getting ready to contact the Department of Commerce about this organization."
"I did not even have a chance to visit urban air before I had a bad experience. I made a mistake when purchasing out memberships and called customer service to have the issue corrected. The representative I talked to told me two moms can't be parents. Then after I told her we were married and my partner is even on our sons birth certificate she then said we can purchase the parent memberships and to call back to have the type memberships corrected. I know one person does not represent the views of a whole company but Urban Air should really think about making sure their employees know to keep their personal views to themselves."
"Was told I had to call corporate to have an issue with our membership fixed. Once I was able to get someone on the phone, the woman said she could not help me and became very rude and hung up on me. After THREE phone calls, a woman who was very polite fixed my issue for me quickly and said it was a glitch on their end. The second woman claimed to have no idea who I had just spoken with so she couldn't/wouldn't address the issue of being hung up on. Extremely poor service for a place my kids enjoy so much."
"My local Urban Air did absolutely nothing to help make my daughter’s birthday special. I kept having to chase our party host down, because he kept forgetting all of the basic things that were supposed to be included. If I hadn’t decorated her party room, then there wouldn’t have been any decorations at all. All of our guests were confused about socks and wristbands because our host didn’t have them ready either. The socks, wristbands, drinks, balloons, table runner and tablecloth, utensils, and cake serving utensils were all missing, and it was nearly impossible to keep tracking him down to get everything together. He also completely screwed up the party schedule, and called everyone back so late to do presents that there was only about 3 minutes left in our time slot to do cake, so all of the parents were upset about having to rush through everything. His lack of organization was embarrassing. Then he kept hounding me for payment when it was time to wrap up. When I told the front desk attendant what happened, he didn’t care one bit. The only thing he cared about was trying to pressure me into giving up a huge tip when it wasn’t warranted. I spent nearly $500 for this party to be so incredibly disorganized and stressful.I am SO disappointed and angry! To top it all off, the guy who rang me out offered to let my daughter try on a shirt to get the right size, and said we could pick whatever color she wanted when we found the right size. Apparently, that’s a lie, and the other employees and manager (Dianne Sampson) threw a huge fit about honoring his promises. Dianne was rude and cruel towards my daughter and I, with the nastiest attitude I’ve ever encountered. That’s what you get when you have a whole facility staffed with incompetent teenagers and a woman who acts like she hates children and their families! I absolutely will not be doing this again."
"First off, our local branch is absolutely fantastic. The owner, managers and employees are wonderful and took the time to know my family members by name. On the opposite end, Corporate Urban Air makes Comcast customer service look like a dream. They take forever to respond via email (if they actually respond). The last representative on the phone hung up on me when I asked to speak to a supervisor as I refused to pay the enrollment fee again when I was trying to upgrade my daughter's current membership. (I wasn't enrolling another member- it was the same account.) They charge you for the full month when you cancel and do not pro-rate you. I asked via email how to cancel as they currently do not allow for online membership cancellation. They took my inquiry as wanting to cancel that moment even though my monthly fee was processed the day before. They are the absolute worst."
