"This is such a great market with a great stock of many different items. I love their Afghan snacks such as nuts, dried fruits, roasted chickpeas and things that you can serve with hot tea. They have an abundance of legumes, beans, lentils that are a much better buy than shopping at big box stores. They also serve HOT, FRESH Afghan bread that you can pick up from the back corner room of the store. The owner and staff are very friendly and welcoming. What a blessing to have a special ethnic market like this in Austin."

"Nice collection of Indian, Pakistan and Bangladesh grocery items. The owners and staff are super friendly. Halal mutton and chicken is also available. Don’t forget to buy the freshly made Afghani bread. It’s awesome with curries or daal. I found the goat meat here really fresh and without any peculiar smell unlike many other places. The rates are better than some of the Indian stores as well."
