Reviews
"The interior is beautiful. The majority of the displays are original with the exception of a very few that you can touch. It is rich in the item's history that helps you appreciate its value as an artifact. The museum is very clean and quiet. They also have persons positioned near the exhibits to answer questions. My favorite was the story of a valley Marine who was awarded the Medal of Honor."
"Awesome museum with a lot of history to read through. The displays are well designed and taken care of! Definitely recommend visiting!"

"Excellent, newer museum that tells the south Texas story from pre -Spaniards thru today. Excellent artifacts with well done, bilingual signage, Covers all development very well. including military, colonization and industry. We parked in the onsite free parking, and stayed about 3 hours."
"I learn (or rather retain) something new every time I visit. If you live here, Saturday mornings are free so it worth coming once a month to view the exhibits or join their Sunday speaker series."
