"I am absolutetly flabbergasted and in utter shock about the discriminatory and racist treatment I got from an employee at this store. I asked an employee that happened to be Caucasian "Do you sell gift bags", and she responded that she did not speak Spanish. I was speaking in English by the way. When I told her, "I am speaking to you in English" she said, "Oh" then proceeded to act like she could not understand me ( for context, I am an English teacher, I was speaking clearly, and I do not have a heavy accent or anything of the sort) ( I am brown skinned and am sure that is why she was acting this way). In the end,she said "well go ask at the front". This behavior and in the RGV nonetheless is so ridiculous and disgusting. I have a JC Penney credit card and have gone to this store since it opened, but I will never go there again."

"Good store with lots of brands and variety of clothes, shoes, jewelry, toys and much more. Make sure whoever is at the front desk when you pay shoes, to remove the devices, because it happened to me they didn't remove it and I didn't check until it was back at home and I had to cut it. Enjoy your visit!"
