"They were super sweet and informative. Prices were reasonable. The tomatoes were some some of the most red and flavorful I've had in a long time as well. I'll definitely be back."
"We bought a couple of patio tomato plants from here. She told us there was a possibility of a freeze in a couple of days, so she let us leave them there until after that chance had passed. We really appreciate that. We also bought some of their ripe tomatoes. They were delicious so we bought some more after we picked up our plants! They hours are convenient for us. They don't close early, like the Farmers Market in town. We like buying local so this gives us both convenient hours and buying from a local farmer!"
"Although we've driven past this place a dozen times as we've driven from Cincinnati, this is the first time we've stopped. They were very nice and their produce and live plants looked fresh and wonderful. We bought fresh green beans that were just delicious! We're now making it a regular stop during our drives to Seymour."
"Great market. Great fruit and AMAZING service. Outstanding tomatoes! So tasty, large size. You can see the tomato and cucumber plants from there!"
"The folks here are really nice and helpful! The young lady that has been to school for horticulture and is (seemingly) the chief of the operation takes time to personally help customers! I am most inspired by her descriptions of groupings of plants and how each will fare later in the season. There are a couple of young men who are happy to help you carry your purchases to your vehicle.. when they aren't digging post holes or grinning, looking shy and embarassed at any attention. Adorable gentlemen, they are! There is a good old black and white dog that keeps her nose in most of the goings on. She may not be out all the time but she knows when there are other dogs out shopping and she does a canine "meet and greet". The plants are healthy and blooming beautifully and the greenhouses are easy to navigate. Selections include everything! Favorites like geraniums and marigolds, celosia, snapdragons, petunias with spots or stripes or a dark velvet purple, lantana, daliah, daisies, begonias (and on and on) are displayed very appealingly. I am not in a place to have a vegetable garden or I would expound on all of that! I cannot get out of the parking lot without spending at least forty dollars which was around 10 containers of either 1 or 4 individual plants. Last year I got fresh produce late in the season and was very happy with it. All in all, there is no other greenhouse or farm market I need to visit. Mc Cowan's has my vote!"
