"I always have a great experience when I come here, ice cream is great but the last time we went the man I presume to be the owner served us, he’s a nice guy, but before he served us he wiped and rubbed his wet nose in a random rag that was laying on the counter. I assumed he was going to wash his hands right after before serving our ice cream but he didnt. Jus put the rag down and asked us what we wanted. I was grossed out after that and haven’t been back since. I’m just a germ freak although he’s always nice I thought that was a little nasty and unprofessional BUT minus that experience the place is cool the ice cream is great and the girls that work there are always fantastic."
"So this was my first time in Bourbon Indiana. Neat little town and obviously my first time trying ice cream atThe Standard! Amazing little ice cream shop with a HomeTown feel and the ice cream was simply perfect! I wanted to try a couple different ones but I went with my typical, strawberry! I'm not an antique sky but there's a little side to the store with antique in it as well. Definitely stop in and give it a try."
