"I was hired at this location Mid-October of last year. My own children were enrolled upon me taking the position and I always feel like they are well looked after. The director Debra is caring, as well as the rest of the staff and everyone that works here feels like family. I think a lot of people tend to overlook the fact that when working with young children we face many challenges day to day that require a great deal of patience and understanding, but it also can be very rewarding at the same time. I personally care about each and every child that walks through the door each and every day and make it my goal to treat them with the same love and care I give to my own children."
"Honestly I don’t know where to begin with this but my child was this daycare for about 6-7 months before I took her out. Whenever we would pick her up in mid-day, the place looked like it doesn’t get cleaned up at all. There has been multiple times that I’ve seen water spilled on the floor and it smelled dirty diapers(which I know daycare, but I’ve been to other daycares that where a lot better even in mid-day.) on top of that I was never given permission for the app they use, so I had no way of really checking on my kid and knowing what she ate and what she did during the day. There’s also been multiple times where I would see bite marks on her arm from another kid but I was never informed about about until I call the following day and ask about it and they tell me that an incident report was never made. I really wanted to know what happened and why my kid got bit so I can try to teach her that it’s not okay to do the same. But I was also never given that either. But in all honesty I was save the headache and really just look somewhere else."
"Since 2018 all four of my children have went to the center and love it. Our family is always treated well and the smaller atmosphere make the experience more personal so that we never feel like just a number."
"It was my favorite of the daycares I looked at, but that isn't saying much - it just meant it wasn't grubby and dark inside. But my kid was there for 15 minutes and got sick for a week. It was only 15 minutes because I ONLY chose this place for the cameras and I wasn't able to connect to them. First it took a 24 hour waiting period to be in the system. Then the app I was told to log into said I'd have to wait another 24-48 hours. But it turns out the director (who seemed really busy and was BARELY paying attention to this conversation) told me the wrong app, so I got rejected anyways. Then she didn't seem to know what I was talking about when I was literally right in front of her asking for help with the app. I am sure she remembers exactly who I am and will protest, but it was a very frustrating and easily avoidable situation and that combined with my kid getting sick convinced me to steer clear. I've had some BAD experiences working in daycares, including the la petite/children's courtyard chains. The short version is: you can never be sure someone isn't hurting your kids, and some of these places will go through EXTRAORDINARY lengths to cover it up. That's why I wanted cameras, so I could watch my kid and be certain. I wish I could point people to good schools, but unfortunately I am a middle school teacher and I can tell you that if you really want to be able to trust your kids not to be mistreated by ANY adult, you should demand a complete restructure of our entire education system and daycare standards. I don't understand how blatant child abuse can just be swept under the rug by big chains like this."
"I can actually say I would never put my son in this school. giving the opportunity to watch my son on the camera all day showed me how my sons teacher treat the kids . 1- snatching things out of there hands 2- doesn’t wash there hands after using the rest room 3- doesn’t at least give the kids a little privacy to change their underwear or pull up that’s including the little girl at least go to a corner all the kids are watching 4- the smell at the school they need to clean more 5- grabbing the kids with force so they can sit down I don’t care what anyone says even if it’s not my child I am a mother and if I see another child getting mistreated I’m going to say something"
