"We took our boys here for 1-2 years. There were little annoying things just about every visit - asking us to pay in cash so they didn't get charged a fee, changing our appointment times, arriving on time to our appointment only to find out that the store didn't open until 10-15 minutes later because not a single employee showed up on time. But the last straw was when they called us to ask if we could come in 45 minutes earlier than our scheduled appointment. We told them okay. We arrive at the new time to find out they took a different client (possibly a walk in) ahead of us. We were the last appointment of the day and they wanted to leave early. We adjusted our schedule to accommodate them. And they couldn't be bothered to honor the appointment we had. All's well that ends well though. I thought the haircuts here were pretty good...certainly much better than I could do at home. But we like the cuts at the new place we go to so much better!"

"Took my boys (8 and 9) for hair cuts. My 8 year old is autistic but is pretty good with hair cuts at other places we've been, we've never seen him uncomfortable during a hair cut at kid-targeted salons. This visit was a first. The woman I believe the manager for the day was rough with my oldest during his cut but he sat through it, did not have a good time whatsoever, she hardly let him play the game even though he was still, she was not kid friendly. My 8 year old was being a bit wiggly (MINOR movements readjusting his body in the chair, etc) so the younger stylist asked the manager for assistance. She held the top of his head so tightly that he pulled away, you could see the grip in her hand, as she directed the stylist to do things we didn't ask for, so my husband told her that's not what we said. She said "I'm speaking to her" (the other stylist) and my husband said "I'm speaking to you. That's not what we asked for." And told her the style. The younger stylist finished the cut just fine and was very kind throughout the remainder of our visit. I'm not sure why someone who isn't good with children would be running a kids hair salon, but we won't be returning to this location. We prefer the Round Rock location where our boys love getting their hair cuts while playing games and watching YouTube. 5 stars to the young lady for trying and being gentle, 0 stars for the lady running the place that day."

"We had the first haircut for our 2.5 year old son today, and it went so well! DJ was wonderful and engaged with our son. She did a lovely job cutting his tricky thin and curly hair, giving it great texture and a clean look. Our son loved the vehicles and getting to choose a show to watch. He didn’t want to leave and asked if we could come back so he can sit in the fire truck! We will definitely be back in a few months for the next appointment. We also received a little certificate, picture and lock of hair as a keepsake, and he got a balloon in his favorite color at the end which he loved. Thank you DJ for making his first haircut a good experience!"
