"They refused to give me my money back after I got to my room and pulled the blanket back and saw stains all over the sheets, one of the pillows missing a pillow case, the bathtub was dirty and the inside of the fridge had dried food in it. The lady at the front called her manager and was told that we could be moved to another motel they own next door (The inn of Uvalde) these rooms were supposed to be newly renovated when we got there and checked this room there was hair in the sheets, the white fabric headboards above the bed were all stained, and in the bathroom there was a huge mold stain on the bathroom ceiling that was actively leaking water onto the toilet and bathroom floor. After all this they still refuse to refund me my money, very poor business practices."
"Fridge didn't work , ac sucked , no sheets on the bed , TV cable sucked remote didn'twork . Old , falling apart, run down and moldy....... rude"
"The rooms are big but the AC can’t cool it down. I was sweating all night. Embarrassing that these mfs charge $120 a night and can’t afford decent ac units. It was just me. I can’t imagine having a whole family"
"Worst place I’ve ever booked. Figured Motel 6 would at least meet the bare minimum to have a couple nights of sleep but I’ve never been so wrong. We showed up a couple of hours before our check in and luckily a front desk woman allowed us to check in at that time. First red flag was that we could not access our room on our own as key cards weren’t working due to door issues. Definitely inconvenient but no big deal, we’ll deal with it. As we get in the room (128) she did say the ac was off so we turned it on to the lowest temp of, I believe, 61 degrees. Most of the buttons on the ac did not work, like the low, high, auto, heat, ac but it did kick on. We dropped our items off, changed and headed to Chalk Bluff. Once we got back around 7/8 hours later we had to get staff to open our door (which we had to wait on them to be in the office UGH) we walked into the room being just as hot as before. I got with the front desk man Greg who said there’s no other rooms available and tried to convince me that the ac is working. The temp was reading 92 degrees in the room and Greg who was supposedly previously HVAC just kept going round and round saying that is how ACs work in Texas. He let me know he could message the owner but they probably will not do anything for me. We bought 3 box fans to try to stick it out through the night but with the 2 babies dripping in sweat there was no way and we were able to book a stay elsewhere for the same night and next day. Our full stay was already paid for and when I asked greg how a refund would work he said the owners would have to be in a good mood because otherwise they really won’t help anyone. So many phone calls later and no refund yet. Waiting on a response from the owners now, but how can they not refund anything if we did not stay at all?? These owners are disgusting people. I don’t know how this place can be open the way that it is!!"
