"We booked here while being in town for several days hunting. So we never seen the premises during daylight. As we left very early each morning and returned after dark. We wanted a safe place to stay and park each night. This was it! We stayed in The Lodge cabin. It was very nice, open, clean and easily accessible. We loved the easy contactless keypad check in and check out. The bed felt much bigger than our king and it looked to have some recent upgrades. Nice large shower too. Things we would suggest but definitely aren’t make it or break it cons because we will 10/10 be staying here again next year. A towel hook to reach towel from the shower, a bench of shower hanger for putting our bottles of wash, etc. a hook by the sink for people who travel with bathroom organizer bags that hang, better instructors too. For the a/c unit because the current ones didn’t work and you’d need an engineering degree to figure that sucker out. A better blind/current for the front door as you could see between the blinds and window. Better pillows. Aside from that this place is amazing and worth booking with. They check on you daily as well!"

"Just felt weird did not feel comfortable with the owner’s staying in the house then there was knocking in our door middle of the morning while we had do not disturb sign on our door ??? Weird people Like if you don’t feel comfortable for people staying at your house don’t be renting it out ?weird owners. then the owner was in the living room in the middle of the night while I was taking out my guest like if he listened to everything . Did not feel comfortable…. owners are weird. Needed more privacy"

"Luckily we had the whole place to ourselves on our overnight trip. I’m sure even if there were other guests it wouldn’t have been an issue. We stayed in the poolside cabana. So we had the pool right outside the room which was convenient but we also had it all to ourselves. It’s a very nice, quaint, my wife called it cute, very clean place to stay. The pool was clean too. Got to visit with Nathan, one of the owners and he said they renovated the pool so this was first summer with the new pool. It’s in a quiet “neighborhood” on outskirts of town, call it neighborhood bc there are maybe 3 other houses around but they are all big nice houses, fenced in, on large acres of land. So you feel private and sort of isolated. We loved it! Convenient check in, super easy, parked right by the cabana. The breakfast in the morning was delicious too. We got an egg omelette, several strips of bacon, some fruit and fruit parfait, and a big hot bowl of what we think was like a blueberry bread pudding. It was good but I couldn’t eat it bc of my gluten allergy but my wife enjoyed it. No complaints about this place at all. We will definitely be back. I suggest everybody else give it a try too. You won’t be disappointed."

"This was our first B & B experience, and they have set the bar high. Our room (Flight Deck) and bathroom were well kept and clean. The grounds and home were beautiful, and breakfast was phenomenal. So glad we stayed here. Thank you, Live Oaks B & B, for your wonderful hospitality."

"Everything was incredible! A friend and I were there for a local event. It felt like we had the entire place to ourselves during our stay! We stayed in the Big Lazy Room. The room was so charming! The bathroom suite was huge! We had a balcony that overlooked the back of the property with views of the cottages and pool. The jacuzzi was amazing! The pool is very nice too.The ambiance was just gorgeous and so enchanting. Our innkeeper was so nice, attentive, and was happy to help us. The owners were very accommodating and a pleasure to meet too! We loved Live Oaks so much we hardly wanted to leave. In fact we spent more time at the property than the local weekend event we were there for! Already making plans to come back again! This place is truly a gorgeous hidden gem. I can’t recommend them enough! We were absolutely happy with everything. I can’t wait to return. Thank you for a wonderful experience!"
