Reviews of Family Dollar
"This visit that day was quick and easy the young lady was very nixe that help me."
"Angel the clerk had a piss poor attitude. Couldn’t even open his mouth to tell me how much everything was…I even asked him and he still didn’t open it."
"Store has been remodeled on the inside but it's still things out of place, missing or on the floor. Language barrier also. I was trying to buy some emergency vitamin c and lady who works there didn't know what I was saying or what I was talking about, she didn't know what aisle to look on and finally shook her head left n right to indicate they didn't have it. Young brother knew and went to search to confirm they didn't have it."
"First off I understand this is a dollar store but it IS a place of business. I got there at 10:59 AM and the doors were loosely locked. Myself as well as another customer did a double take of the stores business hours and were scratching our heads since the sign says open at 9 AM. There was an associate restocking in plain view of us but he didn’t even bother to look up at us. Finally another associate unlocked the doors not even apologizing, opening the door, or saying hello to us. I would say her name except I didn’t see a name tag on her but she had bleached outgrown hair. As others described the walkways were crowded with boxes and loose items on the ground. I grabbed my items and stumbled upon a clearance section that stated any items with red tags were an extra 50% off so I rummaged through and found a few items I liked and continued to the checkout counter. The female associate had just finished checking someone out and decided to answer a video call on her phone as I was preparing my items for scanning. She had a quick conversation while scanning my items in a completely unorganized manner but I gave her the benefit of the doubt and paid and went on my way. Good thing I looked at my receipt before I left the parking lot. She double charged me for several items and didn’t give me the clearance discount that was on several pieces of signage on the clearance rack. I waited in line again as other customers complained about pricing that was incorrect and she just became increasingly visibly annoyed at everyone. I finally got to the front and she just gave me cash back on the items she double scanned but didn’t want to give me the clearance discount. She hesitated to give me a refund since she wouldn’t honor the discount that was clear as day on that isle of items and ultimately gave me the money back in coins. There was a line behind me so I just counted my change outside and lo and behold the amount was incorrect.. I was too upset at that point to go back in and argue with her. It seems the management had gotten very lazy with these associates and just lets them do whatever they want. What a disappointment."
