Dollar General

"One of the worst customer service! That blond lady is extremely rude and yells at the customers. The manager doesn't help either. I am extremely disappointed."

"RUDEST PERSON IVE EVER MET!!! NEEDS TO BE FIRED ASAP!! So as I am scanning my items through self check out she comes and DISCONNECTS the whole machine and screen turns black and she replies with we only allow you to scan “5 items at a time on self checkout”-mind you there is a HANDWRITTEN sign on the machine which I have never seen at any OTHER dollar general but this one! Which after calling corporate they confirmed THIS IS NOT a REAL RULE. So I am in shock like did she blatantly disconnect it while I was almost done scanning and finished with my purchase? YES so she and other worker (tall chunky male w terrible body odor) are talking amongst themselves he keeps asking her so do I check her out and they are whispering to where I can’t hear much. He comes up to register starts scanning my stuff saying it’s not ringing up. Mind you I was literally just at the self checkout scanning my stuff myself and everything was fine until this woman came and disconnected it! So then he goes to the back and SHE COMES BACK to register says it’s not scanning and SNATCHES the items away from me!!!!!!! So at this point I’m embarrassed upset and dissapointed that I have had to deal with such harsh treatment. I tell her can you please just check me out I really don’t want any problems. She grabs the items and puts it behind the register so DENYING me the right to purchase the items I have been looking for at many other dollar generals. In the midst of all this, I’m searching for her name tag-SHE IS NOT WEARING ONE!! So I ask her for her name and she says “I DONT HAVE to give you my name”. She RUDELY DISMISSES me and moves to the OPPOSITE register to help the NEXT customer so I am left there deeply disrespected. She did this for about the next 3 customers leaving me in complete shock and disgust that someone in customer service could possibly be this inhumane and ugly. Also I noticed she was wearing flip flops which I thought was very odd in a workplace. But nonetheless I will be waiting to hear from the supervisor because this woman’s behavior is very traumatic and caused my blood pressure to spike. Idk if this was a RACIAL action towards me or if she’s like this with every human being but I felt very TARGETED and DISCRIMINATED against and will not be spending my money on dollar general with an ogre of a person like that behind the register or any parent companies of DG. There has to be consequences for a person like this because it should not be this traumatizing to shop."

"If I could give this store 0 stars I would. DISGUSTING customer service from the white lady that wears flip flops. She always has an attitude and is so rude. By the looks of other reviews she seems to always be the issue and seems to be the reason many people refuse to go back. A real shame and unfortunately a sorry excuse of an employee. P.S I recommend some head N shoulders lady."

"I came in for laundry detergent and bleach, I saw there was no bleach on the shelf so I go ask the girl at the register name Shelia whom was very nice, she said let me go ask but I believe we have some in the back mind you she is new. Regina tells her there is some but she is not going to get it. I came in the day before yesterday and Regina checked me out and was so rude. This lady hates her job and it truly shows ! She’s pathetic. Like why not go get it for a buying customer for one, two why isn’t the shelf stocked if y’all have it in the back ?!!!!"

"this Dollar General is probably the cleanest and most organized Dollar General I’ve ever been to most cases the Dollar General‘s I have been to are in disarray, boxes everywhere nothing organized and items are not in order. When I walked into this clean and organized Dollar General I was surprised and thankful that the dollar general near me is so well-kept! Great job guys. Staff is very nice and helpful and the deals are amazing. Thank you guys so much for keeping the store so well organized I really appreciate it"
