"The worst experience I’ve had with a contractor. Between the lies, the non responses from text and calls were unbelievable. I am not in the business of just giving money away, they tried to take my money with nothing in return. After waiting for “blueprints” for 5 months I requested my money back via text and voice messages. No one returned my calls. I finally showed up at their place of business on a Saturday and was lied to my face about my blueprints. On Monday I was told my refund was left at the front door. It was a check for 1/2 of what I gave them and pencil drawings they had blown up at Miller Blueprint's downtown. What they called blueprints. I reached out to the owners again about it and have never heard back. In a nut shell they lie, take your money, give you false quotes and should be out of business. In my opinion."

"We have tried to go by and deal with this in person to fix the flooring, we were lied to our faces that the floor would be fixed we tried calling only to be completely ignored. Our flooring is shredding at the seams and they dont want to fix thier install. We now have 2 inch wide gaps in the flooring, cause the product is braking into pieces."

"Heard of Dan when a friend of mine had her home remodeled and was happy. I had previously gotten several quotes from other contractors however having someone who had 1st hand experience was comforting to me. My experience was vastly different from hers. I had discussed a list of needs and wants back in Nov. 2021. Dan came back and said needs could be completed for 75k, whole list for 85k. This list included straightening a driveway which would have at least a 5-10k cost, but he assured me it was easily doable. I was excited to get project started. He gave me a timeline of 6-8 weeks from demo to finish to change out flooring downstairs, new cabinets and countertops to kitchen and bathrooms, new tile to shower, painting whole house. There was minimal structural change and more of a facelift other than putting a bar/passthrough hole into a main wall from kitchen to living room. I spent several weeks looking at tile and countertops at stores he partners with. Several times I asked what grade of quartz was included in his budget, as cost can vary greatly and I was very nervous I would go over budget. I supplied emails of different types of quartz and every time was told "oh it's fine we allow some wiggle room in our budget" I never could get an answer if what I picked was in their "budget". At the end of Jan, appliances I had ordered were in and project was ready to start. At this time, I was told budget would now be 90k due to adding on some cabinets in another room, however the plan for driveway magically disappeared. I asked for an itemized bid as I was very concerned that I was over budget and wasn't getting a major expense item taken care of as well. Never would receive an answer. I asked what I could do to decrease cost and was told the added on cabinets cost $1500, and changing a tile would save an additional $1500, which did not add up to the nearly 10k that I was now over before the project even started. Demo started on a small bathroom on Feb 17th. This was taking out a vanity, replacing with new vanity of same style, new countertop, and painting bathroom. This was my 1st warning sign as this should have taken perhaps a week, however was not completed for 5 whole weeks. Communication for this small project was horrendous and it even was painted the wrong color. Demo for the master bath started on March 22 and included them taking down a wall that was not necessary. They ordered the incorrect tile, followed by not enough tile not once, but 3 times, causing extensive delays. They did not order enough flooring causing further delays. Communication was horrid and it was obvious workers were told one thing and I was being told another. At the very beginning when I had given a sizable deposit, I was told the cabinet maker was making all cabinets so the project would go quickly. Once the cabinets to master bath were installed, approx 8-10 weeks into a 6-8 week project for WHOLE HOUSE, cabinet maker informed me he had not even started on kitchen cabinets as he had not been paid. These kind of communication fails occurred for months. Original emails detailed that my backsplash would be the same quartz as countertops, however when day finally arrived to have countertops installed they had no idea about the backsplash. When I supplied the various emails from January showing that this had always been the plan, I was given no response. All in all, projected ended up costing me approx 20k more out of pocket and was not complete until July 28th, in total lasting 28 painful weeks of mistakes, excuses, unhappy workers and multiple arguments with contractor himself, who only graced his presence at the worksite 4-5 times over this 6 month period. Dan will give you empty promises, telling you whatever you want to get the project, and then torture you until you are worn down and lose the will to advocate for yourself. In the end, I did not have the energy to argue with him for the thousands of dollars of supplies I had to purchase out of pocket to complete the full list he stated was included in his bid."
