"Am looking for modular brick, and I don't know how this company does business. At both the san antonio and Austin branches, NO ONE AND I MEAN NO ONE answers the phone, and it has been the same since back in July to date of this year. Even went to the one in Austin and it was like pulling teeth to get any service whatsoever. Giving up. I have 2 properties that I need brick for and 6 houses after that. No way these guys will be getting any of my business. Absolute joke of a company!!"

"I called in to order some pavers (literally called 4 times before getting a hold of someone) for a landscaping project. The first time I got a hold of someone I was told that they would get pricing and place an order and that someone would call me back soon, I never heard back from. I called the next morning and they said they were still working on the pricing but would get back to me by the end of the day, never heard back from them. Called again the following day and they finally had pricing but did not seem to have the intention on reaching out to me. After placing my order for pavers I noticed that the price per paver was about $2.25 higher than what a local depot store would charge (I would have picked up from there if they had enough but didn’t). I was told on Friday by the sales team that they would have the pavers in early next week either Monday or Tuesday. I called Tuesday of that next week to check on my order since I had not heard anything from them yet and they proceeded to tell me that they had not picked up the pavers from the manufacturer yet. That would have been nice to know so we maybe could have planned ahead. Luckily we have a large trailer and truck so we offered to pick up the pavers ourselves since our project was needing to be completed ASAP. We arrive at the manufacturer and ask for the one pallet that we ordered and we were told Acme Brick had ordered 4 pallets. I sincerely hope they did not up charge us and order additional pallets for their store, considering how much we were up charged. I called Acme Brick back and asked to see if possibly we could receive a discount for picking up the pavers ourselves since part of the up charge I’m assuming was for delivery and freight. I was told that they could not provide any discount, not even the $12 “handling fee” that was charged on top of the overpriced pavers. Our landscape company will not ever conduct any business with Acme Brick again after this. Save your time and money and go with another company who will provide better service."
