"Barry & the entire team at Noles are absolutely topnotch!!! Incredibly kind & helpful regardless if you’re picking up new plants, sod, or bulk fill/aggregate. Skid steer operators load you up like it’s their own truck taking great care to dump gently with the precision of a surgeon. Shop with confidence and help support an amazing local business!"
"This company was recommended to me buy a landscaper. I called them about having a cubic yard of flex base delivered to my home. Short of it is that they had it here the next morning, dumped it exactly where I needed it in the backyard, and did it for $60 (a delivery fee that's $240 LESS than what Denton Sand & Gravel quoted me). The delivery driver even called ahead to make sure I was home, asking where I wanted it, etc. And the product itself is stellar. The 2 (admittedly minor) things I wasn't crazy about include the loose ordering process, and the cost. Ordering was straightforward, but the guy on the phone wasn't clear on when to expect the delivery; he simply said he'd get me on the schedule. I think most people would never want to be in a dark limbo like that. And the price of the product was $70; which is $20 more than the internet had me estimating, and $50 more than it would have been a year ago. The price is competitive though, so (again) minor drawback. Ultimately, I'll happily do business with this company again. Even the way they let you pay by check, or call in to pay over the phone is awesome. And my delivery driver could not have been a nicer person. He even pointed out an issue with the tree in my front yard which I'd been oblivious to."
"Tried to have a delivery order for small-ish quantity sod and a cubic yard of soil mix. They didn't show up on the scheduled day. Called them to ask about it - they'd lost the order. They said sorry but that now they didn't have the sod in stock (supply chain issue) but that this time they'd be sure to follow up with the order personally (since they'd been a no-show the first time) and would call us when it arrived in stock to schedule the delivery. Said to expect a call but not sure when - they estimated 1-2 weeks. Checked back with them after about 3 weeks - they'd lost the order again. The person seemed surprised because they recognized the name and "thought it had been taken care of". They assured me that no one should have told us that they would call us, which according to this person is something they just don't do (apparently even for customers that get stood up twice). This time they informed me that the delivery (paid delivery) could include the dirt but not the sod - that we'd have to pick that up ourselves separately from the dirt delivery. Never heard about this supposed complication before during the two previous order attempts. They also said we'd have to just come in person "to see" if they had enough sod the next day, which they could not hold for us or confirm because "first come first serve". Seriously. Not joking. Got the sod ordered from a competitor instead for less $ and the soil fron Denton Sand and Gravel, who helped us immediately."
"This is the second time I have scheduled for delivery. first time, on the day of the Wednesday delivery, I waited for their call to confirm delivery, no calls, so I made the call in the afternoon, they said they cannot deliver because it rained the previous day, so they cannot cut. Why didn't you call to let me know that you cannot deliver? I have to miss work and wait for you! So I have to reschedule for next week Friday. Comes Friday (yesterday), I waited, again, no calls to confirm delivery, I did not call maybe they didn't harvest. So, today Saturday I was surprised, the delivery guy came, rang the Ring camera doorbell, waited for a good 1 minute, then took off! I was not home, what the heck, why will you come Saturday when you did not confirm Friday and today? What's with you guys, you have to communicate with your customers. I ordered 3 weeks ago... it seems we are at your mercy, you deliver when you feel like it!"
"The Bermuda we got was dry and dead and full of Beetles and grubs...we had to pay to have our property treated for insects we didn't have before the sod was delivered to our property. The delivery was delayed and I have been waiting a week for them to decide a discount or not. I took back my pallets and no one was there to help me unload them."
