"We received great service from Adrian. We just moved into a home we are renovating and we called Nix. We were scheduled in very quickly to have the gas fireplace checked out. Adrian was able to clean, service, start up and give us information about our unit. Great customer service all the way from scheduling to completion."

"We have an existing fireplace that needs repair. Nix said they would come out to check it out for $225. That seemed steep, but we agreed. After looking at our fireplace they ordered 2 parts that would cost $622 to purchase and install. Still steep, but we agreed. When they came out the next time with the parts, they said there was evidence of a water leak into the fireplace and refused to install the parts, but charged us for them anyway. I’ve contacted two different representatives at Nix requesting a refund for the parts that were never installed. They both said they would look into it and get back to me. NOT!!! No one ever called me back and a month later I still haven’t been refunded. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!! UPDATE: I found out how to get their attention - post a Google review! Anyway, “AJ” from Nix’s accounting department contacted me and agreed to refund me the money (actually, I recently disputed this with my credit card company and AJ agreed to let the dispute stand.) I wish I could post more stars, but I had such a difficult time getting my money back, I believe 3 stars is fair."

"Updated: Nix did an average job overall at my newly constructed home and I would not recommend them as they have poor customer relations & attention to detail. They neglected to label 3 of the 8 ethernet lines & 1 of the 12 speaker wall panels were missing the wiring. I called to get them to come out to complete the job and their assistant told me they don't always label their wiring and for me to file a warranty claim via the builder or they could come out asap and redo their work and charge me again for it. As of now, Nix is not cooperating the builder to complete the job or take responsibility."
