"I will for sure and make it to a point that my family and I go every year. For several years that’s what we’ve been trying to do with the Scottish Fair but they keep changing places for some reason. Thank you NTIF for really stepping up your game for us this year!!!! -2024"
"Wow! The largest state fair in the world and it did not disappoint. It is spread in huge area and there are so many rides, food options and things to do. You can easily spend an entire day here. I did not eat any food so can't comment on them, but loved the attractions. Parking was $15, after 5 PM and entrance was $18. You can ride a public transport if you want to save some bucks."
"Parking fills up fast so if you’re headed to the state fair of Texas I suggest you arrive early. Remember where you parked! There is a trolley that will take you up to the gate so you don’t have to walk the whole way. The atmosphere is fun and the food is always good. The deep fried Oreos are my favorite! We saw the majesty of the horse show and it was really entertaining! All in all we have a lovely time at the fair. We went on a Friday early morning and stayed all day. Traffic wasn’t too bad and the crowd didn’t pick up until about 3pm."
"This was our second year attending the state fair of Texas, and once again, we had a wonderful time! We decided to come a little later this time and stay until close, so we could see the illumination show, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. We tried some new foods this year. The fried Thanksgiving dinner was terrible, but the lobster corn dog....amazing! My hubby loved his pulled pork sandwich, and our son enjoyed his chicken tenders. The auto show is the highlight of my fair experience, any time I go to a fair, and this one is the best that I've ever seen. Love the variety of cars to look at. The dog stunt show was fun to watch, and the bleachers were full, so be sure to get there early! Can't wait for next year!"
