"I inquired about a tattoo in January and she told me she could do it and gave me a time and date aftwr she asked for pics and details. I CONFIRMED via email that time worked great. I asked about pricing because SHE NEVER MENTIONED IT!!! She gave me an hourly rate and DID NOT MENTION I NEED A DEPOSIT!!! HENCE ME ASKING PRICE!!! Which made me to believe she just charged hourly. After I confirmed my appointment she didn't say I need a deposit. WEEKS have passed and NEVER did she mention or a deposit or tell me to send it confirm my spot. I have cleared my schedule damn near a month earlier. I'm here for the appointment time and date she gave me and she mentions well you didn't confirm with a deposit. It's your business and if you have a new customer and NO WRITTEN POLICIES, HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO KNOW WHEN I'M ASKING YOU WHAT YOU CHARGE!!!!! AND NONE OF THIS IS MENTIONED ON HER WEBSITE! I CONFIRMED THE APPOINTMENT. I was very excited and looking forward to my new piece. Can't expess my disappoint and disgust. Will find a new artist. Add-If we both confirmed the appointment whether price was discussed or not, you should have told me about a deposit. I sent you pictures, details and where I wanted the piece. Upon giving the appointment, you should have said a deposit is needed to secure the time. Not once did I say cancel my appointment. Once it was given BY YOU and confirmed BY ME, I was under the impression I was booked. Money was the not issue as I actually don't think the pricing was bad. It's the fact you told me in writing with my confirmation I had an appointment."

"Hlee was absolutely amazing!!! I've never had a tattoo experience as amazing as this one. First, her communication was top notch when inquiring and setting up an appointment. Once the appointment started, her studio was so cute, clean and welcoming. Her skills, top notch!! The line work and attention to detail are amazing and her touch was so soft i was legit falling asleep during the appointment. Def going back again for all the e other tattoos i have planned"

"Hlee’s fine-line tattoos are incredible! My wife was actually one of her models. She trusted Hlee even when she was a relatively inexperienced tattoo artist. That was the only time I met her and I also recall her being adorable and friendly. However, her professionalism is unfortunately extremely lacking. My wife hyped Hlee up to a couple of our friends, so we all took off from work and waited around for 7+ hours for her Friday the 13th flash sale. At the end of the day, her assistant texted us that Hlee wouldn’t be able to fit us in without even offering a voucher honoring the sale to redeem on another day (like all the other tat shops we could’ve chosen to support instead were doing). When my wife inquired about a voucher, she was told that Hlee might extend the event tomorrow for the customers remaining on the sign-up list. Yet, we never heard anything back. So then, when I respectfully expressed my disappointment on an IG post with a picture Hlee used of us standing in line to promote her business, she deleted my comment and blocked me."
