"The breakfast tacos are absolute perfection. Simple and bursting with complimenting flavors. I had two La Lucha tacos and it was a great filling breakfast at a great value. I dined in, and everyone was friendly. Will happily be back next time I’m in San Antonio."
"I’m confused by the high ratings. I went in the day after Christmas in the late morning and it was not busy at all and it took over 20 mins to get my order. However, the customer service is exceptional. The person who took my order was patient since it was my first time. I’m allergic to gluten and ordered all corn tortillas. The corn tortillas were extremely thick and not in a good way. I’ve never had corn tortillas that thick in my life! I was told that the jackfruit tacos (Barb) were the most popular but I don’t understand why. It lacks flavor and is pretty tasteless. La Luncha tasted okay, nothing amazing. The La Frida is definitely a hell no. It was all wrong from tortilla to texture to taste. Lastly, the Carna taste the best in my option. The corn tortilla again was a no but the other flavors were there. The Mexican rice is disgusting. The rice looks like a pudding. It was all mushy. It looks nothing like the pictures. The charro beans are flavorful overall. I paid $25 for everything and I will not be back. I’m not sure how they have such a high rating. It’s a no for me."
"A definite must-try! They’ve cracked the code on vegan breakfast tacos with made-in-house corn and flour tortillas, vegan eggs, and a perfect spicy salsa. There are great protein options, too, especially the vegan chorizo. I’m even impressed with their treatment of vegan cheese(!)—normally something that disappoints me, they crisped up one side of it to make a wonderful texture that contrasts the creaminess. The cold brew coffee with oat milk was delicious. The beans are locally-roasted and sourced from Indigenous women in Mexico."
"I had no idea how bomb this place's food was!! I've been hearing about them for a long time but only just recently got delivery from them by Uber Eats. Their location being downtown is the main reason I haven't tried them but when I realized I could get delivery? Um yes please! They have so many different tacos, barbacoa, egg and bean, egg and cheese, so many! So many options! Try these guys now, ASAP! You won't be disappointed!"
