I needed a new set of used tires for my vehicle, the guys at Pflugerville Tires recommended me to get 4 different brands of tires, same size; they assured me that it was OK to get different brands. I accepted because I trusted them. It turns out that I feel a different grip on the tires every time I use the brakes, and every time I hit the gas pedal after a stop; the driving is not smooth, and I am getting neck pain. After I purchased the recommended tires, I read that "Mixing tires with varying sizes, designs, and tread patterns will cause vehicle handling and braking issues. Poor handling makes for unstable driving conditions and increases your risk for accidents on the road". The size of the tires they sold me is the same, but all are different brands and patterns, the 4 of them. I asked the owner of the shop to change my tires for better, matching tires, I was willing to pay for the difference, but he refused. They have TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, I should not have listened to their recommendation. I will not buy tires from them ever!"
