"Best barbershop in North Houston, House of Fades has it down! Been coming here for over a year and they never miss on a haircut! Super easy to set up an appointment online and shout out to the best barbers in h town Angel and Dani hands down! Highly recommend!"
"First time Customer. Our regular barber is unexpectedly unavailable and we had Christmas photos to get ready for. The Good: The place looks great. Nice design. Clean. Welcoming. Busy. Clients of various ages in the shop. Our barber was really nice. The Bad: The guy we booked with actually left early for the day (we found out when we got there at 5:30p). But thankfully, another barber graciously worked my son at the last minute. However, despite the pictures I showed of my son's prior fades, he wasn't able to produce the desired fade. He didn't blend in the fade well. He nicked my son's forehead when edging the front. And the back fade is crooked. (Maybe he was used to a straighter type of hair. My sons hair is curly) From looking around the shop, straighter hair does better here than curlier types. Maybe different barber would have done better. But without knowing which barber for sure, I'm nervous to return."
"Took my 6 year old in for a Boy’s Long hair cut, my boy has been here before, I have not. A Walk-In on Thursday evening, there was no wait, Plenty of guys were standing around the front Bar ready to cut so that was great. We had been growing it out for several months almost down to his mouth, I asked for a Tapered skater style, keeping the long length in front and just getting rid of any split ends, I said we needed to find his natural side part, comb it over, and side shave and fade it up #2 to a whatever, if we Just start longer I said, we can go shorter. We ended up with #2 back & sides turned out great, just somehow lost about 2-3 inches in grown out length that we wanted to keep in the front. But oh well. It Still looks good. I asked to Fade it up and leave some length at top so we could do a hard part straight line on that side…. And I showed him mine , because half way through, I still still didn’t see a defined straight part line? they usually wet my hair & run a comb through to separate the part line. I just said You are the style guy, just make it cool for the kid. His 3rd hair cut so My kid still cringes a bit at clippers on his skin but I reminded him often it just tickles, to Be still & look straight. He did very well. Plus He had a phone game to keep him occupied & looking forward. A Good trick! As you can see The barber nailed “the hard part” A perfect line! It’s just next to the wandering one still visible from the pony tail holding his hair up? Unless multiple parts are a thing? I’m still searching the internet on that one. Regardless, there are some pics, not sure what it’s called but it’s what we got. Hair was also wetted & combed when done, so I couldn’t get dry pics of how 6 year old naturally wears it, because No child wears long wet hair, especially in the winter season. So the pics are from an hour later when we got home and it dried. Kids specialty cut was $31 - added $5 tip"
"My son's usual barber left our old shop so we decided to give House of Fades a try. Booking online was easy. Made a 2:15 appointment and was taken by another Barbee (not the one we booked) at 2:30. Staff was friendly and haircut turned out good. Would have preferred barber we picked at appointment time but understand things come up."
