The term "Tapas" originates from the Spanish word "Tapar," meaning "to cover." Legend has it that tapas were created in taverns during the 16th century when patrons would cover their drinks with slices of ham or cheese to keep out insects, and then eat the cover as a snack. At Si Tapas, Executive Chef Jose Luis Lopez and his team are dedicated to preparing a delicious array of tapas and entrées that will transport your taste buds to Spain.
We invite you to join us at Si Tapas for an authentic Spanish dining experience and become a part of our community. ¡Somos la primera peña oficial del Real Madrid en el estado de Tejas! (We are the first official Real Madrid fan club in the state of Texas!)

"Last night, we revisited this establishment. The food was great but we were extremely disappointed with the service. I'm not talking about the server, he was good, but more about the management. We finished our main course, dessert and my wife was finishing her wine. We were talking enjoying our time and suddenly the waiter told us that he was very sorry but the manager had told him that we needed to leave because they needed the table. I completely understand if we had been there talking for 30 to 40 minutes without ordering anything else but it must have been only 10 minutes just waiting for my wife to finish her drink. I have never been told to leave from a restaurant before. We love to go out and eat at good places and have traveled a lot and always find good restaurants, but this has never happened to me before. I can't help but wonder if our treatment would have differed had we been a different demographic. Such a disappointing experience after having a great time with my wife celebrating my birthday."
"This place is amazing! From the outside, it appears much smaller than what it is....I was surprised upon entering! The food was exceptional with pretty decently sized portions for tapas, compared to places like Barcelona Bar. We went for lunch and had the following: Patatas con chorizo (Sautéed potatoes w/Spanish chorizo), Gambas al ajillo (Shrimp in garlic), Croquetas de jamón / Croquetas de queso Manchego (Spanish serrano ham croquettes and Manchego cheese), Costillas de Cerdo Lacada (Lacquered pork ribs), Chuletas de cordero a la parrilla (lamb chops) and Albóndigas estilo Si (meatballs). The pitcher of Sangria was well made as well, not very sweet but enough flavor to make it a great drink to have with their food. Our favorite item were the ribs! They even fell off the bone is how good they were. The pricing is well done, especially for the amount of food we had. All this food and a pitcher barely was over $100 (before tip). I will be coming back to try some of the other items i could not fit this time!"
"Do not order anything with seafood, especially mussels. They were obviously bad and tasted/smelled like sewage but the kitchen and manager refused to acknowledge that fact. The server tried his best to work things out and gave us a replacement dish but their stubbornness to admit their seafood was not fresh was a very bad experience."
"One of my favorite Spanish restaurants! The Paella is delicious, it has an amazing flavor and is one of the paellas that the flavor reminds me of when I visited Madrid. The tapas are always good, I make sure to get the jamón serrano croquetas, tortilla española si tapas & patatas bravas, those are always my go to tapas. The only think I would make different is the sangria, don’t get me wrong, the sangria is really good but I just miss the fresh fruit in the drink. Anything you try, the taste will be amazing."
"My experience with Si Tapas surpassed my expectations. Their food is another level of flavor. We wanted Spanish food for late lunch, and the Si Tapas caught our attention on Google. When I arrived at the restaurant, I noticed they did not have a parking lot, which can be inconvenient during rush hours. However, we were lucky to find a spot on the street close to the place. The food, the service, the atmosphere, and the wine are exceptional. We had paella for two, and it was more than enough. Something I appreciate is the commitment from the administration to keep their original receipts, which makes this place very special and unique. I would return to Si Tapas and try other things from their menu. I would recommend it to friends and family."
