"Pricey shoes but very comfortable"
"Snobby unpleasant staff... sadly, it's the last location in town."
"Clark shoes are my favorite. Shopped here last night. Had great customer service from Rebecca. She helped me with everything I needed. Thank you for your time. Will continue to be a loyal customer!"
"Never have I ever been so disrespected in the retail store. Can I just say that Clark shoe are one of the most comfortable shoes and boots for my feet. (I've had many toes surgeries) I believe in the quality products they manufacture. Today, a male employee all but removed the desire to spend my hard earned money in this La Cantera Clarks shoe store. To be treated their customers with such disrespect and unprofessionalism is disgusting. I'm still seeing red. I did not receive the customer service deserved as a purchaser of our Clark product. I made an online purchase of not 1 but three pairs of shoes. My shoe size depends on the shoe made. My order was for the standard shoe size that I usually purchase. The shoes didn't fit it was a half size too big and was skipping off my foot; so a size change was required. I came in with all three pairs of shoes to get a refund because "the store didn't have the shoes I purchased", says the male employee. Now, this isn't the first time I've purchased shoes and/or boots from this very same employee and the service was trouble then, as well. I explained that I ordered them online. His response was that I had to have the return labeling that came in the box or he could not accept the return. I asked him to measure my foot so when I reorder, I will get the correct size. He told me that my foot size was a whole size smaller than it really is; so I tried on another pair of shoes to test it out. They were too small so I asked for the next size up, and they too were too small, so I asked for another size up (which I purchased). I didn't make a fuss and left the store. This did not sit right with me so I went home to find the return label, to no avail. This prompted me to READ the return policy, which said no such thing. The policy read that the shoes must not have been wore, (check), return must be done within a 60 day windows, (check, purchased on 19 OCT 2022), and you must have the original receipt (check- online receipt). I went a step further and called another store to hear the policy from another store employees, description of its policy and was the same as what I read online. I went back to the store, which was busy. It was a lady employee, which I found out was the manager of this store. She said, she'd help as soon as she could which is totally understandable. The male employee came from the back and asked it he could help me and I said, no and that I wanted a manager. I told him at he had every opportunity to help me and he didn't so he asked me, what was issue, so I gave him a recap of our conversation, less than an hour previous. The manager came, I told her the issue and she apologized and said that she would take care of it. My refund was given and she said, when you come in next time I will take care of you. Although, she was very professional, I don't feel like was enough. I'm not playing any race card but I felt discriminated against by him treating me so unprofessionally. Yes, to the manager and boo to her employee. Words of advice: KNOW HOW TO READ THE FOOT MEASURER AND KNOW AND ENFORCE THE STORE POLICIES, ESPECIALLY, IF YOU WORKED IN THAT SAME STORE FOR AT LEAST 2 TO 5 YEARS, LIKE HE HAS. DOUBLE BOO ON YOU, SIR."
"Arnold was incredibly knowledgeable. I kept asking him all kinds of questions and he always had an immediate answer that was very helpful. I wish every shopping experience could be like that! We will definitely be returning when these shoes are worn out. Thanks, Arnold :)"
