"What I like about Venus Hair is that when you go, you get consistency - the same staff who have years of experience who you can form a working relationship with and they know what you like so whether it's the same cut every time or a changing hair journey, they got you. I recommend you just bring in a picture to show what you have in mind and they can take it from there. My stylist is Becky and she can work from the pictures I show her and also is happy to give suggestions for what will work for my hair. That's how I got my cute little minibangs that I love! She'll also tell you straight up if a style won't work for you. So overall, this is the only place I'll go because I trust them and I love my haircuts."

"This is NOT your typical snobby/hipster/sterile salon!!!! I was so pleased with my first visit to Venus Hair. All the ladies were so warm and friendly, with genuine personalities that made me feel really at home. As a small town girl-- I really missed feeling that way and I haven't felt that in so many years while living here in Houston. This salon is not just historic and funky, it's also filled with professionals who have decades' worth of experience. It's a very clean salon too! Becky did a really great job turning my faded blue-green hair back to a more natural red that looked good with my roots. When my husband saw it he gasped with surprise at how pretty it turned out! Also, I am SUPER tender headed due to a head injury. I didn't even tell Becky that-- she was so naturally gentle! So many stylists will pull and rip at your hair. The price was very reasonable too.
