"They falsified reports, used city policing to obtain information about me, stole my devices each time they arrested me, beat me up, arrested me for no reason at all. Gave me false tickets kept putting me in jail for about 6 months. They didn’t know no matter how many times they drugged me or put me in sunrise canyon I would forget what they did to me. Police brutality, violations of my constitutional rights, nearly killed me and countrynelly21. Both Lubbock county sheriffs officers and police officers violated their code of ethics. I’m getting my evidence ready"

"So my dealings with the Lubbock Police Department are very negative. 1.) they don’t follow the law of Texas. They make up the laws as they go along, it seems like. I agree with the other poster who stated “They are a bunch of goomer piles with no supervision of any quality. The one time I was seriously in need of help, and I swallowed my pride and accepted help from the Homeless Shelter initiative Department. Officer Chacon. After me telling him that I had been robbed and homeless and just got out of the hospital. He told me “that the help offered to me was not a handout but a hand-up. And after a lecture about the situation I was in. Told me to get out of his police vehicle and leave the hospital ER and that I couldn’t stay there for very long.” The only thing he offered me was a piece of paper with a list of shelters and food pantry and a hot meal once a day and a bus ticket to leave the hospital. Oh by the way the bus didn’t run on Sundays. It’s closed, so the ticket was stupid at best. So I wanted to tell Officer Chacon. Thanks for giving a care for another fellow human being. No wonder this city gets a bad wrap. If you don’t like what you do. Don’t do it. Simple solution to you not giving a damn. You seriously have no idea of how to help individuals and neither does the police Department!! Bunch of stupid individuals who have no idea about how things really work in the world. If you leave Lubbock, you will see how the real world operates!! Also, don’t expect people to help you out when you don’t give a damn about the community. The city doesn’t want to help the homeless. They could care less. There are money homeless in Lubbock than people realize. That is the city’s fault."

"A bunch of Gomer Piles. This department not only excessively wastes taxpayer money due to poor management and leadership.... They also don't follow the laws they are supposed to uphold. I would be ashamed to wear the badge in this town."

March 8, 2018 at or around 2240 (police unit 1212) officer parks in a no parking area and then checks other vehicles in handicapped spots for the placard at bodyworks You officer have no right to enforce the law if you can't follow it yourself. The badge is not for you to think you are above us civilians. Shameful"
