"In a pinch during a weekend trip, we had to have our second vehicle towed to this location as we continued home to S.A. The next day, they called me with a quote of $1400 to replace the fuel pump. So, I tried another Lubbock mechanic that didn't end up working out, and reluctantly authorized Firestone to do the work several days later so we could get our vehicle back. Firestone didn't install the pump properly and the pressure in the tank caused it to pop out of place. When I spoke to the service manager about it, he told me "mistakes happen" and talked about the part warranty as if the part was the issue and not the tech who installed my $1200 fuel pump. So if you're looking for a service center that wants you to commit only to the highest price while sidestepping its quality guarantee with "mistakes happen," you're in good hands."
