"Truly one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. Dined in for my birthday celebration and I am so glad that we did. Our waiter Marcus was outstanding; he had tasteful recommendations and provided such excellent service. The food exceeded all expectations. I had been waiting a long time to try Beef Wellington and I am pleased to have tried it here. Also highly recommend the Steak a La Berg, espresso martini, and the cheesecake! Bonus points to valet for being able to drive standard, as many restaurants I have been to are unable to. The restaurant is dimly lit and provides a warm and intimate atmosphere. We cannot wait to come back!"
"It was my first time at B&B Butcher's and it was a bit disappointing to say the least. My husband and I decided between choosing one of our favorite steak restaurants in Houston (Pappa's Bros) to celebrate our anniversary or to try B&B Butcher's since it is also known as a top Houston steak restaurant with certified Japanese A5 Wagyu. We were seated outside on the top of the building which had a nice view of downtown Houston which was nice. We ordered the calamari for our appetizer, bread service (was $12, they don't give complimentary bread), American Wagyu ribeye with the Foie Gras Diane topping, and the brussel sprouts. The calamari was decent, but nothing extraordinary in terms of crispiness, flavor, and taste. The ribeye was soft and tasted like a solid steak but there was some lack of seasoning/chef's kiss to give it that 5 star taste. On top of that, our Foie Gras Diane did not come out with our steak. We told the food runner that it was missing because our food runner was busy with another table. The food runner said she was going to let the server know and the kitchen. However the server was with the other table for about 15 minutes explaining to them the entire menu in detail before checking on us again. She also had another table who have been waiting there for a while to check out. We have already begun eating halfway through our steak and the simple grilled piece of foie gras still has not come out (you would think that it was going to be put in a rush order when they realized the topping was missing). Our steak was cold by then and we almost finished over half the steak by the time it came out. Sure the manager did offer at the end to make a whole new one for us but we were already full from eating the first steak that didn't come out with the topping. We were already too disappointed at that point especially since it was supposed to be a special occasion. All in all, t's not a bad restaurant. However, the service, lack of communication, professionalism, and flavors, were lackluster as a whole for the price you pay and for it to be considered a high-end steak restaurant. Brussels sprouts and bread were the only highlight of the night. I'll keep sticking to my favorite steak restaurant in Houston."
"Shoutout to Sydney! She was such a good waitress. Really made the overall experience more positive! Also the food and drinks were amazing, great place for date night! My man asked me to be his valentine here and the chef went all out decorating the plate! The whole experience was magical. Bread service is 10/10 and worth it, and the portion sizes are huge! I took two boxes home for the next day."
"The staff was super friendly and our waiter was super attentive as well as helpful when it came to picking dishes. We started off with the B&B Meatballs as well as the Sizzling Thick Cut Bacon. B&B Butchers is known for their bacon and it’s incorporated into many of their dishes. We each got the surf & turf for our second course. It was two filet medallions and two bacon wrapped crab stuffed shrimp. The filets were cooked perfectly and to top it off we ordered a side of the brussel sprouts. They were hands down some of the best brussel sprouts I’ve ever had as they were topped with bacon and garlic chili. Last but not least we ordered the cheesecake imported all the way from New York and it’s the only dessert on the menu they don’t make at the restaurant and then the classic crème brûlée. To tie the entire meal together we picked a Diora Pinot Noir. We had a great dinner and dining experience at B&B Butchers and recommend to anyone looking for a night out with your significant other, parents, friend or coworkers."
"Service was good, but food lacked salt to taste. Disappointed brisket ravioli was very small plate; brisket should be on top and not infused. Burger was good , but lacked flavor in sauce and lack of salt. Sausage on burger was too small and one small tomato for a big bun. Needed onions, Potato wedges were huge, but not good at all. The oil used was not good enough and texture was off. Seasoning was lacking the most. Food temperature was good. Wedges should be thinner."
