"Good for frequent visits, and large portions. Be careful not to add tequila to the home-made lemonade. Not the best for vegetarians as their guacamole and pico, lack lime. Their salsa is great for long dipping sessions, but it's not the sweet red stuff that goes great in Huevos Rancheros. Their guac reminds me of Cafe Layal Tabbouleh, technically fine, but missing the lime juice kick that makes our taste buds dance. Their food is not aggressively unhealthy, which is one of the ways they've managed to keep busy for 50 years. It's not over sweetened or over greased. It's made for daily consumption... not special occasions."

"Always noticed this place in the heights and had been there once many years ago and man was it good. Girlfriend and I went for breakfast on a Saturday morning around 9 am and it was busy but not packed. If you want a traditional Mexican breakfast and not break the bank, this is your spot! Tortillas are the star of the show as well as the salsa. Not a lot of places serve warm salsa and I’m all for it. Spent $20 for two plates and 2 coffees. Can’t beat that!"

"Ordered the fajita plate via GrubHub. The menu on grubhub is misleading as if the order does not come with chips and salsa. I paid extra for chips to go with my queso. Ended up getting 2 bags with salsa in which I was not going to pay extra for. The tacos are very full of fajita. I asked for the lettuce and tomato on the side. Perfect!"

"Great breakfast. The menudo was just right in my opinion. I have been to a few spots and this is one of the top places. The service is great and friendly. The food came out quickly and had good portions, plus homemade tortillas. I would recommend this place if you are in the area. Safe travel. Prost."
