"I was so excited to return to this place now that I’m back in Houston. I am so disappointed. This place has gone downhill. The kibbeh was warmed up in the microwave and was very soft. It didn’t taste fresh at all. I ordered the small eggplant and it was served cold. The gyro sandwich was pretty awful. The meat seemed like it was frozen pieces from Costco. The tzatziki isn’t even homemade. It’s from a bucket. This was definitely a very disappointing visit. It’s nothing like it used to be to be. There is also water leaking from the ceiling with no bucket in sight. I will not be returning and that makes me pretty sad. The one star is for the customer service. The guy at the counter was friendly."

"Got the beef shawarma plate with hummus. Honestly I don't know if it is just me on what I ordered. If it was just a bad day, the service wasn't that amazing.. first time here. Don't know where's the order but they just stared at me awkwardly and I had to ask where do I order then anything extra you want even for the sauce for the dried beef shwarma cost extra as well as just water does cause extra. 20 bucks for a decent plate. That was not anything amazing I don't think it was worth it. Not sure what is so amazing about the food here and I've had other plenty of shawarma that tasted not dry"

"The owners changed and now the chicken shawarma is absolutely horrible. Terrible. Not edible. I couldn’t even finish my shawarma. It used to be so delicious. Now the taste is so bad and my sandwich was watery. I’m so sad because this place had a very very unique taste to the chicken shawarma. My family would visit from Dallas and I would always bring them here. Reminded me of shawarma from back home. Now it is the same bland flavor you can get from a food truck. Prices have also increased. I paid almost $19 for two shawarmas. After reading other reviews it seems everyone has the same concern."

"The decor here is wonderful! The atmosphere it creates is perfect. The service was awesome as well, the man at the counter was extremely friendly the entire time. I got the chicken shawarma which was very good. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for authentic shawarma! 5 stars all around"
