"Always love this place since a teen. Great horror items and t shirts. The place has really grown and has tons and tons of misc items that are always good for x mas or any occasion. I like the buy one get one half price section and the tarot card section is really cool as well. I get my wallets there all the time."

"Awful experience at Spencer's. I visited the store yesterday and purchased something without an issue. The associate who took my payment advised me that if I complete a survey on their site, I'd get a coupon for my next visit. Later I completed the survey, but received no such discount or coupon, so I screenshoted the result and returned to the store to purchase another item. I went to the counter to pay and showed the associate (a young lady) that I did not receive a discount even though I had completed the survey. She stated that not every survey receives a discount. Just then, another associate was walking by and whispered "Yeah the survey doesn't give discounts to ugly people" to which my clerk quickly hushed her. I was shocked but let it go, because I just wanted my discount honored since the previous associate had said that I would get a discount. The associate then advised me she couldn't give a discount but that I should try completing another survey and gave me a random receipt from the under the counter. I sighed and gave it a shot from my cell phone but it never connected to the page. She said, "aww, sorry but we always have really bad service here. Maybe you can just go to the food court and do the survey there?" At that point I had had it and decided instead to leave my items at the counter and just leave. I have never in a very long while been subjected to such awful service. Please note that both of my purchases were of a very adult nature, so to think that the only local store that sold those items could freely treat a customer like that made it worse. There is absolutely no reason for a customer to be made to feel ugly, to dismiss a previous offer, or to be ashamed to go elsewhere to finish a survey that was not originally from their own visit. "Like many other spencers I've been to, this one is just as good! IT's probably one of the bigger less cramped ones I've been to as well, and this helped with the clean navigationable area I walked upon. Didnt get anything but the prices seemed decent and the service was very friendly as well. Great clothes store, great buncha things, great Spencers!"

"Customer Service was awesome and I'm shocked that after I lost my sweater in the store, the store manager Saul and his employees took care of my sweater and remind me that I left it there. I appreciate it."
