"well .... it seems that 90% of the time the deli workers act as if we are invisible and they are of a distasteful character it must be their natural horrible attitude or must be comin from their manager .. yet really all we want is our deli meat sliced up as ordered and in a timely manner and not have to deal w/any mental issues . like today i was given low sodium ham when i never even mentioned or pointed to that item .. and the lady acted as if i was orderin a foreign item and botherin her .. those w this type of attitude should not be dealin w either internal or external customers .. me being the external customer and internal customer is fellow workers because this attitude seems to be spreadin amongst your stores"
"Today, I had my hands full with my big 4 month old and his car seat plus a cart full of groceries, gallons of water and milk, and packages of water bottles, diaper and wipes boxes and lots of fruits and veggies... But thankfully Eddie, he was our bagger, and was so kind and helpful and patient! He helped us out the store and loaded our groceries really kindly and carefully. I just wanted everyone to know that the young man Eddie was amazing and totally made our HEB shipping experience great for both me and my baby... As it was my first time shopping with him. It was at the HEB on Del Mar and McPherson!"
"HEB Delmar-McPherson is one of the best HEBs in Laredo, if not the best. The variety of produce is excellent. It surprises us especially when we see Asian vegetables such as ampalaya or bitter gourd, eggplant, sitaw or long beans, kalabasa or squash and okra. Hubby calls that area Pinakbet Corner referring to a popular Filipino dish called pinakbet. Yesterday 9/1/2023, the display at the plant/floral section attracted me. I ended up buying 3 pots of yellow mini-roses. They’re beautiful and bright. They had other colors - red, pink, white, orange mini-roses. Succulent dish gardens are being sold too. While looking for jalapeno and cilantro, I asked the assistance of an associate who seemed to be in a rush. But he stopped when I called him. Really kind of Mando who, with a smile, told me where they are."
