"I'll be honest, I really wanted to like this place. I love family owned restaurants, but the food has been very average every time we've eatin there. The last time, my kids wouldn't finish the spaghetti because its overcooked. Some of the pastas were well undercooked. The flavors are about average. I've gotten pizzas from here in the past and haven't been impressed. Maybe its just us but to each his own."

"This place is ALWAYS so good. We’ve been coming here for 15 years and is one of our “go to” neighborhood places. Please don’t confuse this with others around Plano claiming to be part of this family owned business! The baked ziti is my fave! Creamy cheesy goodness! The staff even remembers our order whether we are eat in or getting it to go. Hubs loves the lasagna. We’ve tried others but always come back to Verona!"

"Been here several times but takes one bad apple to ruin it. I really didnt want to write this but it was a complete embarrassment how the server acted. She was barely there and had a bad attitude when requesting items. Worse of all, at the end of the meal she chased us just to say the tip is not included in the price. This is very unprofessional. If she had earned a tip I would have gladly left one. Its a nice cozy place but this kind of customer service is not wanted. I will probably never be back there again. Customer service comes first before anything. Treat customers right and they will appreciate it.... (tips)."

"We ordered pasta, garlic bread and salad . Packaging was ok. Pasta was good and bread with it was fresh. Garlic bread with cheese was way too salty. Salad had more of lettuce and salad sauce provided was way too salty again. Overall would say pasta saved us."

"I'm a pretty harsh critic of Italian food. To me it's either good or bad, not much in between. I've only found one in El Paso Texas run by an old Italian woman that i would say stands out as great. This place is good, better than Olive garden imo but it's just good Italian food. Nothing to write home about. Service was good, place is clean sand they play the gratuitous Frank Sinatra Italian songs.. The pasta tour West good, fettuccine Alfredo was ok and the cheese bread ... No. Don't get me wrong, the food was good, prices good and if you like Italian, i think most would like this place but to me it's just good Italian food."
