"…. READ THIS REVIEW….. Lots of fun and really good bar selections of top tier bourbon and scotch. The burgers are supposed to be awesome, however I had the Steak Frites (which the Yelp menu showed to be beef tenderloin for $22 / reasonable) - however I was served a small portion of “flank steak” instead. (Pissed - bait and switch!?!?) Good thing the staff apologized and gave me 50% off for the error. Very professional and the right thing to do. Very impressive, I never asked. Awesome empowerment to the staff from the owner. RARE TO SEE!! They explained there was a menu change and evidently the Yelp website was not updated. They are to have a meeting tomorrow and the Mgr was going to have it fixed! I could not be more proud of the staff and the way they handled this. PERFECT! While I would normally give a 2-3 star, I’m giving 4 because of the excellent service I got and the way they handled everything. And several people around me said the burgers were crazy good. THIS IS A PLACE WHICH CARES ABOUT MAKING SURE YOU ARE HAPPY!! This is too rare of an attitude to score low. In several years, I’ve never said this. I will definitely be back for a burger and more pours. The atmosphere is totally European with dark woods and decor. Awesome!! One of my new favorites - and 45 min drive for me. But worth it. Cool place - GO GO GO!!!!"

"I was really excited to try this place, because I saw they had Sheppard's pie & bread pudding. The place seems neat and has a nice vibe. I hope the owners/mgr will consider having someone in charge of keeping an eye on the tables, because we were basically ignored/invisible. We sat in a booth close to the darts as that's what was avail & waited 10 minutes for someone to take our order. Occasionally we would look around hoping for some acknowledgement or clarity on how to order, maybe we are suppose to go to the bar, made using the qr code at the table. We even googled "how to order at Holy Grail Pub Plano" hoping a review would clue us in. Finally at one point we saw someone take an order for a couple playing darts. We assumed they saw us and would be back soon. After a few more minutes of waiting I went to the bar & politely asked how to order. The person I spoke with was very friendly , asked where we were sitting and then they would send someone over. However, No one ever came. We waited another 7 minutes & decided it wasn't our night. Even as we left there was no one headed to the table, no recognition when I walked by the person I spoke to earlier, or even as we left. From what I saw was no one was really proactive in keeping track/engaging with the tables and I am curious if it was because we were past the main bar they sort of forget that area even exists because even the couple playing Darts seemed like they had been there a while before being served."

"This might not be a popular review here. This was my first visit in 4 years. Part of it is I’m comparing 2019 pre-Covid to today. The gravy fries are still delicious but not game changing like they used to be. Shrinkflation is real and I was pretty shocked at the small portion. Also the fries used to have more crisp and tonight they were pretty soft. Still very tasty but not what it used to be. We got fish and chips. The breading and crisp was good. Fish seemed fresh. Again fries did not seem hand cut and were not crisp enough.. not quite soggy but not crisp either. For the atmosphere I love that it’s dark and it feels like what I would imagine an English pub to be like. The music playing might as well have been my iTunes playlist. But the music inside is pretty loud and if that’s not your music it might be a negative. There is a nice outdoor sitting. And they have added some blockers from the outside elements when it’s cold. Service was great. My waiter was quick, attentive, and friendly. Overall, this is a great place to get happy hour with friends or work colleagues. Nice outdoor area, nice beer and drink selection and good, but no longer great imo, food. As far as a date experience I’d say there are better places. But I still love this place."

"Solid pub with good food, crazy selection of beer and alcohol and great service. Lots of room for seating. The menu is a bit on the small side but that's probably a good thing because what's on there is excellent. They also have brunch I think but I haven't tried that. If you're in Plano, this is a great place to try out!"
