"I waited over an hour before I was seen. Once they did all these scans, they wanted to charge me over $600 for teeth cleaning, & over a thousand for other work. I NEVER use dental companies. I'm used to private dentists. The staff were kind, but I will not be utilizing Monarch for my dental needs."
"I'm not at all happy with my visit and won't recommend this to anyone and wont come back again. I made an appointment for cleaning and xray and the front desk confirmed that the ortho will be there to provide the consultation on invisalign procedure. i went in there and bombarded work 20 unnecessary xrays. NO cleaning was done and No ortho was there for my invisalign consultation and i was told he only comes once a week. charged my insurance for the service that i never received. I was also given an estimate on deep cleaning which is wayyy more than what other reputable dentists in the area charge. This is just ridiculous."
"So, I’ve never been in the office so this review is based solely on customer service over the phone. I called today twice, each time I spoke with Lydia she was helpful, kind, and professional. They called me back to tell me my appointment time needed to be changed and this person was rude, demeaning, aggressive and hung up on me without saying goodbye. I decided to look up the reviews because of this experience and saw outside of their customer service their level of care was not good either. I’ll be cancelling and finding dental care somewhere else."
"Too long didn't read version: Teeth pieces falling out of my mouth post surgery, had to pull them out myself. When I called to inform the office both the manager and the assistant I spoke to got an attitude and said it was my own fault for not following up (after I explained I used all my time off for the surgery) Bottom line: They got me in quick for an appointment, which was necessary, but I cannot recommend them after pulling out a piece of my own tooth. Had wisdom teeth extracted which were impacted. Two weeks after the surgery I was still feeling extreme pain and called to ask them what I should do. The dental assistant over the phone suggested I wasn't cleaning the area properly. I informed her I was a dental assistant myself for six years and I was fairly certain that wasn't the case. I told her I suspected dry socket and described 7/10 pain. She then said, and I quote, "Despite your qualifications, the vast majority of the time it's food caught in your injury. If you think it's dry socket, you'll have to make an appointment." I clarified that I had used all my allowed time off for the surgery and asked for what I could do at home or for general advice for pain management and she reiterated that I needed an appointment and there was nothing they could do for me otherwise. Well about a week later, the pain is actually worse and I finally look in the mirror and can visually see a piece of bone sticking out of my gums. The gums were trying to heal around the shard which was actually very sharp. I bled quite a bit pulling it out. If I spend 4k I don't expect to be pulling out my own teeth. I call the office and the manager shows absolutely no regard for my condition and essentially says I should have made an appointment. Her language was very careful, like she was trying to avoid liability or admitting they may have made a mistake. She showed absolutely no concern for my pain or issues. They have the same surgeon at all locations so really the whole chain is bunk. Just skip Monarch. No empathy, accountability, and work was sloppy."
"The office was very nice and clean and inviting and the office staff was very nice and very helpful. I would say the only reservation I had is that the prices seem to be pretty extreme and I was going to be charged $146 just to have a consultation with an oral surgeon. Usually consultations are free at most dental offices. I have decided to upgrade my insurance to PPO to where I can go to a private dental office instead."
