"The staff is nice & pleasant. HOWEVER, I am def disappointed & feel like this office tries to get as much money out of patients as possible. My first visit to this office was in Fall of 2022. I was given a treatment plan stating I needed a root canal, 2 crowns & 2 fillings on top of “deep cleaning gum treatment”. I got what I could afford at the time (root canal & crown). At the top of 2023, they started calling repeatedly trying to get me “scheduled for a routine 6-month visit for cleaning”. I was laid off in January so no insurance. After starting a new job & getting benefits, I finally came in for my “routine appt” just for them to not only try & give me the same treatment plan that I clearly couldn’t afford AND claim they couldn’t do my cleaning without doing the costly deep gum cleaning THE still charging me a 15 fee, when I didn’t receive the cleaning I was scheduled for. I paid at the time bc I was ready to go. Months later, after looking at my insurance claim, it appears as if there actually was no patient responsibility. So I call & they claim the $15 I was charged was for an “oral cancer screening” a service my insurance didn’t cover. However, the procedure was not on my insurance claim/EOB & I have no recollection of having that done during my appt. All in all, it felt like they were just trying to get me in the office & convince me to spend as much money as possible which is sick considering the economy right now."
