"Arrived 20 minutes before close and the closing employee had already closed up. He had an angry look on his face because he had to come to the door, then proceeded to tell me they close early when it is slow. He asked me what I needed and when I told him state inspection he said they stopped doing that 3 months ago. That's odd because the sign for state inspections is dead center on the garage."
"THEY WILL DAMAGE YOUR VEHICLE. On 4/7/22 I took my 2021 Volkswagen with only 8,000 miles for a routine oil change. Due to an oil change being the easiest car maintenance, I thought there no way it could go wrong. Well think again, if you choose Kwik Car in Fossil Creek you will learn quickly the ineptitude of these employees will cause damage to your vehicle. The oil change took over an hour, which is odd. I have done them in 20 minutes in my own driveway in the past. While in the waiting room, I would hear drilling sounds (my vehicle was the only one in the garage). I may not be a mechanic, but I know it is not common for a drill to be used on an oil change. The employee brought my car around and I noticed it did not sound normal. I placed my vehicle in drive and did not make it out of the parking lot before the car shut off and would not turn back on. The employees pushed my vehicle back into the garage and attempted to fix the issue. I was later greeted by the "manager" (Jay) who advised they could not fix it and they were filing an insurance claim to get it fixed. I requested to talk to the owner (Mike), who was not remorseful nor helpful. Mike just said theres nothing he can do and to go with the insurance. May I note, Mike had a slight chuckle and smiled as I asked him questions. I contacted their insurance and was advised almost all expenses will be out of pocket and would later be reimbursed. After explaining to Mike this was my only method of transportation and as a young adult, who worked very hard to afford a new car I deserve an answer as to what happened. Mike stated the employee installed the filter on wrong, which caused it to fall off, the oil to leak out, and caused engine failure. Again I am no mechanic, but it is safe to assume I will be needing a completely new engine. My vehicle was towed to the dealership at my cost and I am now without means of transportation. Sadly this was not the only matter that puts this local shop on my list of worst businesses. While inside the waiting room, one of the employees "baby momma's" came in with her two toddlers. The children ran around and screamed constantly. The Fort Worth Police Department conducted a traffic stop on an unrelated individual and observed a vehicle parking in the handicapped spot without a placard and another vehicle parked on top the handicapped ramp. The Officer conducted his traffic stop and later identified the two employees as the owners of said vehicles. The Officer ordered them to park their cars legally, which they never did. This all occurred in front of Mike the store owner. My vehicle had oil residue all over the steering wheel, door, and center console from the employee's hands. Photos attached to this review is the cleaned up oil my car leaked out, oil residue inside my vehicle, and the employees cars parked illegally."
"All I got was an oil change on a mini cooper. Stuff broken, wires not put back, this thing hanging by it's wires. Paid $80 for an oil change & now i have to pay more to fix all the stuff they broke/didn't even put back."
"This place had the friendliest staff. They were quick with my state inspection ($25.50). The waiting area and restrooms were clean and comfortable. Even the work bays looked cared for, orderly, and neat (the employees showed pride in this store!). Recommend them 100%!!!"
